I had to loosen the screws on one side of the front hinge to mount the front middle leg and then retighten the hinge screws, but other than that, there were no real problems assembling it. The detachable arm rests are a great idea, they're easy to remove or put back into place. I enjoy a firm or extra-firm sleep surface and this couch hits the mark for that. So far, this convertible couch is well worth the money. My only real gripe is with the delivery company's ambivalence to deliver the almost 100 lb. box to my door, they refused delivery the day before I got a determined driver/delivery person. ... show more

This product arrived 2 days ahead of schedule. It was super easy and fast to assemble. Just screw in legs and slide the arm rests on. Done! Wonderful quality. It is super firm, so be aware of that if you like your mattress on the soft side. It comes with 2 throw pillows also. Super satisfied!

One of the legs was missing the holes necessary to put the screws through to attach to the couch. Additionally, one of the arm rests would not go in because the plate on the couch was placed upside down. Overall, it would have been an easy and smooth assembly if it weren't for these 2 issues, hence I gave low rating for assembling. ... show more

This futon was very easy to assemble. The main section is shipped folded in half. When you unbox it, just unfold it, take the legs out of the bottom pockets and screw them in. The sides are attached by sliding them down. They come of easily if you need them to. It is pretty comfortable to sit on. I don't know about sleeping on it. ... show more

I was very skeptical when buying this couch after reading the reviews, but after receiving it in the mail I was very satisfied with the product. Assembly: The holes didn’t match up with the screws locations for the two middle legs HOWEVER if you have a drill it will still make it into the holes no problem. The tool that comes with it is per useless anyway, you can only get about a quarter turn each way. Comfort: It’s a nice soft but firm couch, also the pillows are very nice! Sturdiness: I’ve had this couch for about 2 weeks now and i’ve had 4 friends on it drinking and it’s held it's ground! I really recommend this couch , this is nice quality for a nice price. ... show more

Purchased for the kids room. Legs bent ended up taking them off all together. Nope it’s like a floor futon smh. The legs were so cheap they should at least sell replacements
