This has a cushion that is easy to clean. It's very comfortable. The height is easily adjusted. The black & chrome matches my major appliances and some countertop appliances also. I’m really happy with these Yaheetech bar stools. I ordered the set of two in red, and they immediately added a bold, modern look to my kitchen area. The color is vibrant without being too bright, and the PU leather has a smooth finish that looks more expensive than the price suggests. The stitching is clean, and the overall design looks sleek and stylish. Assembly was surprisingly easy. Each stool came with clear instructions and all the pieces needed. I had both stools put together in under 20 minutes. Once assembled, they feel sturdy and well-balanced. The base is wide enough that the chairs don’t wobble, even when you swivel or shift around. One of the features I love most is the hydraulic height adjustment. There is a lever located right underneath the seat that lets you raise or lower the stool smoothly. You just pull the lever up while sitting to lower the height, or stand up slightly and pull the lever to let it rise. The movement is smooth, and it doesn’t jerk or drop suddenly like some cheaper stools do. This makes it super convenient for switching from counter height to bar height depending on where you’re using them. The swivel function works perfectly full 360° rotation with no grinding or stiffness. The armrests and backrests are a nice touch too. They give the stools more support than typical bar chairs and make them more comfortable for longer sitting. The cushioning is firm but comfortable. It doesn’t feel cheap or thin, and it holds its shape well without sinking over time. The footrest is placed at a natural height and makes the seating position more comfortable, especially for shorter people. Overall, these bar stools look great, adjust easily, and are comfortable to sit in. The hydraulic lever under the seat works exactly as it should, and the chairs feel stable and well-built. These stools are so pretty ! They seem to be sturdy also and the height adjustment raises them up pretty high to where I had to get on another chair to get in the stool I raised up 😆 I put them together myself, it wasn’t hard and I’m 68. They seem comfortable but there is one problem. The seating area is not as big as it seems in the picture. The depth of the seat is short for both myself and husband and we are both short ( 5’ 1” & 5’ 5”) and on the small side. The seat edge hits about 6” from my knees. I can put my feet on the footrest but it’s an uncomfortable feeling having the seat edge resting back that far on the thighs. I’m thinking maybe I won’t be sitting at the counter long enough to get 2nds and that’s a good thing ! The stools will be perfect for our little granddaughter, I’m not going to try to return them because of what I’ve read on other reviews. Or maybe sell them to someone who has little kids. These counter stools would be absolutely perfect if only the seats were a little bigger ! UPDATE - we have decided to order 4 more , they’re so appealing to look at. We can sit in them, they just aren’t as comfortable as we hoped. With your feet on the footrest it helps. ... show more

I purchased a set of 4 barstools. They come in with 2 chairs in a box. So I received 2 boxes with equipment to build 4 barstools. I opened them one by one and begin assembling. The instructions are very straightforward. You’re done building after 4 easy steps. The product is also really great quality and looks just like the photo. After assembling 3 and getting to the last one I notice a big piece is missing. It’s the last hydraulic for this barstool and without it I cannot even sit on the chair. I reached out to the manufacturer and the seller to see how I could go about getting a replacement. I was willing to pay even, however I was told to recheck my box, and I did. It’s was very evidently not there as this is a large piece. It would be very hard to miss. Rather than refunding me for the cost of the one chair, they offered a refund of half of what it would cost. While I do understand that they at least made an attempt to resolve the issue, this doesn’t replace the chair nor make it so I can actually sit on it. I reached out to ask for a full refund for the one chair and am currently waiting for a response. ... show more
