Fairly easy to assemble with provided instructions. It took me a little over an hour. All the hardware come in a little white cloth drawstring bag tied with a red ribbon. The hex wrench isn't very strong so I used my socket wrench which made things go faster. Use gloves while putting this together because there is some residue from the hardware and furniture finish that should be hosed down prior to use. The chairs have plastic feet to keep the legs off the ground and out of any water but unfortunately they table legs don't so I used non-skid furniture leg pads. ABOUT THE UMBRELLA; This is the only drawback to this set because an umbrella stand is too wide for the table legs to go around. You can use an umbrella without a stand while you're using the table but don't leave open or in table when not in use and use a light umbrella no larger than 7 feet in diameter. I've decided to buy a base with a flat surface and only 2 inches high on which the table can sit. I'm not sure about how durable the bronze finish will be. Only time will tell but I plan to use a clear coat spray protectant in the fall because it's too humid right now. The seats are uncomfortable to sit on without a cushion or pillow but the design is so beautiful that it's worth the small inconvenience. Perfect for morning coffee, tea time or mojitos on the patio.

These held up wonderfully over the winter. They look great. Are comfortable - with a cushion of course. And solid build. The bistro table needs some weight in the bottom, though, if you live in a high wind area (we do). Great value for money!
