The price range for an item of this quality is typically 30% higher in my opinion. The frame is srong enough for it's purpose, and for the last month has withstood the weather here being rain and wind thus far. With the anchor ropes supplied, stakes and even sand bags ( void of sand for obvious reasons ) it wont be going anywhere (assuming you correctly placed the stakes in the ground) some things are not always common knowledge. I am using the ropes and stakes, which I'd recommend. The sand bags are a good touch 👌 and if you have a big storm coming..take it down or use the sand bags and lower the legs ( dealers choice ). The material used is thick and does not let water through, however the SMALL metal ring holes are there, in my opinion they don't make a difference. The bars make a good spot to attach solar lights as I have done, again the quality is great for the price range and I have recommended this to a family member already.

When we set up this canopy, it was so hard to get it set up. We realized it was hard because one of the legs was already broken and wouldn't go into the three holes correctly. We had it up for two days when the top of the canopy caved in. We lowered it so we could try to fix it. The night we lowered it, a rain storm came and we had a little bit of wind (probably 5-7 mph). The whole side bent with the little wind we had. We tried to return it but you basically have to pay as much you bought it for in order to return it. We ended up buying a cheaper Coleman brand canopy that has worked out better than this cheap, flimsy canopy.

Had the canopy set up for a few weeks. It looks great and held up to several rain showers with marginal wind. Last night we had an absolute gulleywasher and the canopy collapsed on itself and the structure got bent in several places. Ideally would have been best practice to take it down in anticipation of weather like that coming through, but it’s somewhat of a pain to get set up, which is why we didn’t take it down. I think it’s a good product that does its job well for what you pay. If you commit to taking it down when expecting severe weather, it’ll last a good while.

We first watched the video on Amazon which helped us get an idea of where to start. We started putting everything together inside the house because it was 100 degrees outside the day we got it. Once all the poles and canopy were placed it was easy to take outside and set up. Watch the video! It will save you time and frustration. Overall this is a great purchase if you plan on having a semi permanent shade . When it rains or gets windy, just lower the height to prevent damage. We bought 2 bags of play sand to fill the sand bags it came with.

*Easy Set Up: Definitely need at least 2 people. No tools needed except for ladder. Pulled out n opened up easily except for locking top in place. *Large Space: It's a good size but saying 10 people can sit comfortably is pushing it. Maybe 8 at most, 5-6 larger with smaller table n chairs and at least half having to get up if someone needs to use bathroom. *Upgrade Fabric: That may be but I would hate to be under the lower grade. Said fabric is water repellant n includes waterproof sealing tape to protect against water pooling in wet conditions. I don't honestly what tape it's talking about n we had no water pooling because the water just came right through the fabric. We ended up having to cancel our cookout we got it for since our chairs were all wet n we were just inside all getting wet. So I wasn't about to test for the flame resistant fabric it claimed to have. The removable netting was really sagging n the pest were most definitely coming in making themselves at home. We used clothes pins around the top to try to somewhat solve that problem. *Additional Notes: The middle tie n bottom velcro tore right off the one corner as we were putting it together. We didn't understand why or how it would tear so easily when the netting was so loose. Unless it wasn't sewn on very well as it was only the one corner. All n all it's better quality, stronger, n easier set up than many others I've tested out over the years. I'm out of the sun, and not getting bitten or chased by bees with the help of all the clothes pins n wire tied where velcro ripped off. Gave 3 stars cause I think with a bit of tweaking you could have a really good product.

the reviews are right it is definitely not a one woman job, however, my husband helped a little just getting the legs pulled out & the poles pushed it up but that was it, the rest i was able to do on my own. it was about an hour to put together. it wasn’t hard necessarily the instructions are a bit vague which i think is what makes it feel hard to do but it isn’t. i like it so far! we have lots of wind & as of now it is doing well. will update once we have any storms! size is good, value for money is good in my opinion, it seems very sturdy.
