I've had the KS5 scooter for about a month and like everything about it. It seems well made, rides smoothly, and feels durable. I'm really not using the app anymore and find that the onboard controls work perfectly. I thought about getting the Pro model, but this one performs very well for my needs. 18 MPH is plenty fast, and any faster would really be pushing the safety factor. I haven't really had a need to test the range, but I can tell that it has to be at least as advertised. One note of caution, keep BOTH hands on the handlebars at all times, and keep your eyes on the road surface to avoid any major ruts and unexpected bumps. I was a little overconfident, got the front wheel sideways, and suffered my first scraped knee in about six decades! The fault was all mine, not the scooter's.

I have been using the Yadea scooter for 5 months on a daily basis, mainly to go to classes around campus. The scooter has not gone through any harsh environments or crashes and has been charged when necessary. Recently I have been experiencing incidents where the power just shuts itself down. When this happens the monitor of the scooter just turns off, and the scooter does not turn back on for a few minutes to sometimes hours. Pressing the power button does not help too. This has happened to me about 4-5 times a week. My scooter turned off again recently and has not turned back on. The backlight (the brake light) is on, but the main screen is just unresponsive, and I cannot ride the scooter anymore. It has been turned off for more than 3 days now. Is there any solution to fixing this problem? I paid $600-700 for this scooter and have used it in good condition for 5 months, and it has already broken. This is unacceptable.

Pro The YadeaScooter is the best possible scooter in the market. It has a max speed of 18MPH while carrying 200 plus pounds of weight. The scooter can average 10-13 MPH on a 20-25 slope hill. It’s about 36 pounds, which makes it convenient to carry short distances. The dual breaks are amazing and it has decent front/ rear lights. The suspension does a great job at absorbing bumps on the road or sidewalk. The scooter has solid rubber wheels so you never have to worry about flat tires. Con Realistically the scooter will get you about 13-17 miles. The app is terrible and every time you turn off the scooter the setting sets to default. The scooter has a lot of room to improve such as better battery life and brighter lights. Overall, the scooter is a great deal for the price and you can't go wrong with it.

This is my second scooter and I have to say for the price, it's a pretty darn good scooter. I mainly decided to get this because of the price and because of the dual shocks in the front. Living here in Boston, the streets are rough as heck and I mean literately. There's pot holes, cracks, deep holes, I mean it's a mess everywhere; oh and trolley tracks everywhere, at least where I am. So I needed something that can take the beating and keep on going and this beauty sure can do that. It goes up hill pretty good, if it's a big incline maybe more than 15 or 20ish, it will make it but not very fast might need a couple of kicks to help it out. The last thing I will say is for people that have roads aren't so smooth, watch out for your rear fender and your handlebar. As for your handlebar , just make sure you're checking them at least twice a month based on daily distance and how often you ride. I need a rear fender replacement and I contacted Yadea Customer Service and they were very quick to reply back and very polite. One of the agents named Dye, was super helpful, responsive and polite and is sending me a rear fender replacement and I can't wait to get it! Thanks Yadea!

I'm a nurse in Minnesota and this had been worth every penny. With gas reaching 5 dollars a gallon this has paid for itself, plusnthe convenience. Charges quickly, fast enough, rides well, and has saved me a ton on gas. I ride 5 miles a day for work and it's been fantastic the past 5 months. Definitely recommend for the price. The app is ok, range is good, hill ascent grade is decent, headlight is all you need, brakes work very well, display is fantastic, and the overall quality is very durable.

The scooter is good. However, the brake light was all the time on even if the scooter is off. It means the battery has a problem. The headlight didn't work in the app so. I couldn't turn it on

Very nice scooter and very well build. I put one star only because mine came damaged. Even the box was damaged. I did buy it when it was on sale. I wanted to exchange for another one but I didn’t have that option... maybe because I buy during discount time by the time I receive scooter the price went up again. So I couldn’t exchange. I sent scooter back for full refund. Scooter itself very well build. I was really sorry that it came damaged.

After doing some research, I finally chose this model and bought it for my girlfriend's birthday. She LOVES it. This model is well packaged when arriving and supper easy for me to set it up. It has a stable design and very powerful motor (max speed of approxi. 18.6mph per instruction and I cruised in the central park and I think it did achieve that; Plus the LED screen looks really cool and informative). It can also travel up to 25 miles before recharging which saves a lot of troubles. The safety features are also pretty well designed - the brake is very effective in case of any emergencies, also has a bell and taillights (think those are always-on when cruising so can alert the others effectively). The price might look a bit high but considering the above cool features, definitely worth purchasing. Recommend!
