I received a 40 dollar gift card for Amazon and after spending the last week on vet bills for two different dogs I wanted to buy something for myself. Fall is coming and I wanted to be able to make my own lattes at home. I found this expresso maker that was within my budget and I loved the color to fit with the aesthetic of my kitchen. I also love that it’s small and can be stored away easily when not in use. I received it last night and put it to work this morning. It was easy to use and comes with all the tools needed. The scooper with the flat end to push the expresso down. the little pot with the guards on the side for the finished expresso that keeps it from making a mess when making, the little cup to put the expresso in has a clip so when you are dumping out the used expresso it keeps the cup from falling out. The drip tray is easily removable to rinse off if you spill on it like I did. And it has a milk frothing tool that can be folded out or in, I did not use this feature yet but it’s a nice addition. The rubber comes off for easy cleaning. I just poured the water in, added the expresso and turned it on. Was able to make my drink in just a few minutes! For less then 40.00, this machine does beyond what was expected! I will need it for the many restless nights keeping my dogs healthy, and the 12 hour work shifts to pay these vet bills. 🤪 ... show more

During covid we started making coffee at home to socially distance and my husband was missing his starbucks so we ordered this one to try and make it at home.m The 3.5Bar pressure is sufficient for brewing a decent espresso and frothing milk for cappuccinos for the two of us. Pros: Affordable Price: This espresso machine offers great value for the price. It's an excellent option for those who want to enjoy homemade espresso without breaking the bank. Compact Design: The compact size of the machine makes it a great fit for smaller kitchens or limited counter space. Easy to Use: The straightforward controls and simple setup make it perfect for beginners who are new to making espresso at home. Decent Espresso: While it may not provide the same level of quality as high-end machines, the espresso produced is still quite good for the price point. Cons: Limited Pressure: The 3.5Bar pressure is adequate for basic espresso and cappuccino preparation, but don't expect it to deliver the same level of crema and flavor as machines with higher pressure. It's a nice little cheap machine for a beginner deciding if they want to start making their own espressos and they don't yet care about all the technical things that come with true espresso making. You won't get the crema effect of a true espresso. It's small and doesn't take up much space and makes a decent latte but definitely for a beginner. ... show more

We had a similar looking model that had died randomly one morning, after looking at those reviews it seemed to be a common theme. I shopped around for a similar model and this one had great reviews, upon trying it for the first time the handle does get a little stuck and you need to put some muscle into locking it/unlocking it but after a week or so it is a lot less stiff and easier to lock in and out. This was purchased to replace my go to espresso maker from ten years ago. Since then, it seems the size of cups have gone from 8 oz. to 6 oz. I end up adding water to make a full 2 cups. ( just me)…..otherwise, it works as advertised and makes good espresso.

    • Replacement parts are hard to find
I bought a coffee machine years ago, but unfortunately, I broke the glass pot. It took a long time to finally get a replacement. This year, the steel filter and its holder got accidentally eroded. I attempted to find a new one but failed. The coffee machine itself works well, and I am satisfied with its performance. However, I hope that the manufacturer will consider selling all the components separately, as it would be more convenient for customers to replace individual parts when needed. ... show more

    • Solid inexpensive espresso maker w/ steamer

If you think you’re going to buy a $40 “espresso maker” and get espresso that’s “just as good“ as that produced by a machine costing $1000-2000, you’re a fool. Luckily, I’m not a fool and am fine with their limitations. For the past 30+ years, I’ve had a succession of inexpensive steam “espresso makers. The Yabano is the latest. Only one cost more than $65 and they’ve all done very well making cappucino or, my preference, a flat white. If you expect to get an espresso with crema, you’ll probably be disappointed. The choice of Yabano was simply due to it having a small footprint and a steamer on the left side, both required by the very small kitchen in my apartment. So far, it’s done a good job at meeting my needs and if it lasts for 5 to 6 years, I’ll be very happy. By the way, the only espresso maker that I spent $200 on was also the only one that gave up in under two years. Sorry, but I don’t remember the name. ... show more
