This is a great tool and I am pleasantly surprised how well it works considering all the negative reviews. I starting to wonder if people know how to read, as the instructions with Falcon Design Space tells everything needed to get this machine to work with macOS and Windows computers. For those who do not have one but are considering it. It does work with M series silicon processor mac computers if you use an USB-C to USB-A data cable with a USB-A to USB-C adapter or hub. I know it sounds like a weird combo of cords but it works without issue. If you use just a USB-C to USB-C Cable it will fail to work. So it is simple follow what creality suggests and it works perfectly. Also for that person that kept pressing the button and all it made was noise. The person was impatient and did not allow the machine to process the command. Every button press is a new command, followed by a sound then it re-homes the laser before doing it’s job. The guy never allowed it to do it’s job. Seriously I almost did not buy this because that dudes video. But now knowing what he did now, it makes me upset cause I almost passed buying this wonderful tool. This 10 watt laser is very capable of doing many things. I use only basswood and yes it can cut 1.5mm, 2mm, 3mm, 4mm, 6mm all in a single pass. Creality also has its own Free MacOS and Windows software called Falcon Design Space. It works great and if you want more Light burn paid software (Extra $100) that does good too. I needed up getting a 500mm by 500mm honeycomb and metal plate and it fits prefect with the CR-10. I would also suggest getting the SKY enclosure to stop smoke and fumes from creating a poor workspace and bad health. And send it out the window using a window dryer vent. Last the only negative thing about this tool are the included safety glasses are NOT safe!!! Green glasses will cause eye problems and do not block blue diode lasers. You need orangish red glasses that are ANSI Z136.1 (USA) or EN 207(Europe) compliance for 190-490nm OD4+ OD6+ Buy them before using. You only get two eyes do not risk it. I love my CR-10 Falcon laser engraver. It is worth getting and works great for me and my small business.

If you're looking to get started with a laser engraver/cutter, but are not sure where to start, this bundle is a no brainer. Pros: Price point. Lots of choices out there. Most of them more costly than this bundle. If you don't have any experience and just want to look and see what this type of crafting is like, this one won't break the bank. Pre-assembled. This bundle comes 99% assembled. This is a simple set up, but they made it even simpler. Complete package. Everything you need to get up and running right away. Equipment, cords, safety this bundle has you covered. Free software versions also included. Nothing else you need to order along with this bundle to get started. Ease of use. If you already have access to, or know how to get the correct file types, all you need to do is insert your TF card, turn on, align your project piece and push a single button. Obviously the software is where you will get bogged down, but using this machine won't be the problem. Quick contact. Creality is already trusted in the 3D printing space The quick contact on making sure I received everything in working order after I received the package affirms that the company wants you to be happy. I received an e-mail the day after the package arrived telling me how to contact them if I had any issues with my purchase. You don't see that often. It was a good sign that they will support if you have problems. Cons: Instructions. Nothing really to assemble, which is good because the included instructions are pretty terrible. Missing words, mis-spellings, words that don't match what it is referring to. The booklet that comes with the bundle is going to be less than helpful. Thankfully there are all kinds of unboxing/setting up videos on YouTube. Upgrade. Most likely, if you really get into engraving/cutting like this, you will look to upgrade/improve your equipment. This is probably not the machine that will take you down that road very far. But, it is a perfect start for that journey. Because of the price and what it includes you can easily get started and get a better idea of what you want your next set up to be, or the next features that you can't live without. Again, without having invested too much at the start. I decided on this bundle because there were too many choices, options and features that I just wasn't sure about. For the money, getting started this way seemed to make the most sense to me.

This is my first Laser and was not sure if i could learn it or not, this machine was a great investment and i am not in anyway sorry i bought it its a good size to start with if your not sure about Lasers. 15 min easy assembly and for a 10 Watt laser this machine is fantastic, if your not sure about how to operate one well that was painless, it comes with its own Design Space which is easy to use, there are other programs for designing items which i am in process of learning now, but you don't have to rely on them to use this laser the size is great and it cuts and engraves real easy and so far i been having a blast with it i really do enjoy using this laser " you cant go wrong with this laser " for the size the price and the performance its just a no brainer.

I have just used the engraver. The first few tries, it did not engrave at all. I then took off the air assist (bought separately) and cleaned the lens. (I think the lens was not put on properly.) But I finally got it working. I love the results! Using free LaserGRBL, very easy to use.

If I could give a zero star, I would. This is the second purchase, Neither of the engravers worked. Have been through many calls and testing with the company, then they cut me off. Amazon was great, I ordered another to replace the first one and it doesn't work either. The company should be ashamed of itself. Do not buy this product.

So far I have only tried engraving in wood, aluminum (polished, didn’t leave any markings), and painted metal. I had zero experience in engraving before, so using the included software is a challenge for me and this whole process is just trial and error. I’m referring to lightburn specifically. I made my designs in autocad, transferred it to lightburn and only saved my trial gcode in the included memory card. I have yet to try and connect this machine directly to a computer. As advertised, one click in the only button of the machine lets you “preview” the work area so you can position the engraving material, the second click starts the real engraving.. BUT at my first, second and third attempts, the laser machine started working way off the preview area. At the fourth attempt I managed to get the thing working in the preview area as intended. I decided to study more of the software configurations before I use it properly. Overall, I think it’s a good value if you are thinking to engrave things yourself, it’s very simple to use (if you know how or had any previous experience with the software) and really fun to see it working. I am giving full 5 stars even if the printed manual has very little drawings and it feels like you need a magnifier glass (and a lot of common sense) to see all the details, as well as the English “instructions“... some steps might need a more detailed explanation.. But on the other hand it is really nice they have included a printed version this manual. So it’s more like 4.8 stars. The package included everything you need for the assembly process.

The laser engraver itself does really good work — the quality of the engravings is impressive once you get the hang of it. My main disappointment was expecting it to connect via Bluetooth like my 3D printer, but it doesn’t, which was frustrating at first. The software is also pretty overwhelming if you’re new to laser engraving — it took me a while to figure things out and actually start producing results. Once you get past that initial learning curve it starts to click, but for a beginner, expect to spend a good amount of time just learning the setup before you make anything usable. Not a bad machine at all, just not as plug-and-play as I hoped. Would be 5 stars if it were more beginner-friendly out of the box.
