Was thinking about getting back into drawing, on my tablet, and after some research, decided on this device. As a beginner, I didn't want to spend a lot, on a drawing tablet, and the XP Pen Deco 01 V2 was on sale. I liked the color, and that it came with some extra accessories. It was a lot bigger than I expected, but not bulky or heavy. Very aesthetically pleasing matte, textured surface. I didn't have to deal with driver installation, initially, since I had my two chrome tablets, and it was very much plug, open drawing app, and play (even on my phone). Installation on my PC was easy, straight from the site. Once on the XP Pen website, I made an account, registered the tablet, and got a code to get ArtRage Lite, for free. Still have to figure out the keys, as I'm not sure they work with any of the apps on my tablet (though it's easy enough to customize them and map them out, on the PC), but no biggie. Still very much getting into the whole, digital art thing, but so far, I am really enjoying the green deco tab.

This is a beautiful beginner graphics tablet. It's beautiful and comes with a paper-like protector for the drawing area, which I highly recommend using. The included software is what I've been using for years just on a computer now. Artrage is wonderful with it as well as any other software that is for drawing and sketching. It has lights on the edges of the drawing area. The buttons feel great and responsive! It's a big tablet so please don't get this thinking it's small. Excellent for drawing large projects and on most any device. This is connected using a USB cable and the pen doesn't require recharging. 10/10 recommend!

i had a xp-pen tablet before and i know they works wonderful,so i was not surprised when this beauty lived up to the xp-pen standers. it’s a pretty green color the size is great and it came with everything it said it would.the glove,the protect/paper like screen,the extra nibs all the way down to the weighted tip taker out/ pen holder. i used it briefly but it was a breeze it was easy to set up and comfortable to use

I initially purchased the smaller version but found it was too small for me so I purchased the larger version and I am very pleased with it. I also like having the row of function buttons to help control the pen operations. I am an amateur photo enthusiast and I have recently also started using illustrations. I also like that ability to customize the function keys for specific applications.

Hello artists ^^ I was so excited for this to come in! Shipping was fast and the quality is awesome as expected. I added a sketch I did while using this drawing pad on CSP. Comes with a paper feeling cover over the screen, giving the drawing pad a more traditional paper feel to it!

This tablet has been out of the box for mere hours and I can’t explain how awesome this is. I bought this for my 9 yo who loves creating games and is learning graphic design and it is so seamless and perfect for her. My interest peaked with the code for art rage lite which had good reviews on the App Store as well. The tablet along with the program makes it an amazing purchase and I’m very happy with it.

I'm going to preface this by saying that I only got my XP-PEN Deco 01 v2 today, so, what I'm going to say is based on a total of around three hours of use so far. If my experience with the tablet or company changes in the coming months, I'll update the review, so, here goes. I use GIMP 2.10.22, and it's been my experience over the past decade I've been using GIMP, that it's usually either really fiddly to set up a tablet with GIMP (unless it's a Wacom, of course), or a tablet straight up just isn't compatible with the software. But with the Deco 01 v2, it was so incredibly easy. All I really had to do was was set the tablet up as normal, and then go into GIMP's input device settings and enable the Eraser function, choose a Brush Dynamics profile, and that was it. I was off and scribbling in about five minutes, when all was said and done. So, I'm super happy with my purchase of their product. This is technically my third tablet, but the first one I've been able to actually get to work with GIMP without any real hassle. First tablet was a Genius MousePen 608, and that KINDA worked with GIMP, but not really (it kept losing cursor position and I'd have to restart GIMP what seemed like every 10 minutes or so to get the cursor tracking back). The next one was a Turcom TS-6580B, and I couldn't get that one to work with GIMP no matter what I did. It's actually still sitting on the chair where I left it almost five years ago. Can't find the pen, though, so it's not really useful, anyway, and it was an active stylus and thus required 1xAAA battery. This drawing tablet is amazing so far. But yeah, the construction seems solid enough, the lit corners for the working area are a nice touch, especially if you're gonna be using it any at night, and having the little shortcut keys on the side is convenient. And I'm not gonna lie; the extras that are included with it certainly make it what I'd consider a decent value (other brands, you should be taking notes from these guys), and it comes at a decent price too, which, of course, is something to consider. The only thing I could mildly complain about is that I wish the PN05 stylus that comes with the Deco 01 v2 had the eraser end, and that could potentially be alleviated by swapping it out for another stylus, but I don't know if any other styluses from XP-PEN (or from anyone else, for that matter) are compatible with the tablet. So, maybe if anyone knows, one way or another, you could let me know in a comment to this review.
