The keys, keypad and fingerprint activation work well. Keypad lights up when touched.The box pops open quickly and has an internal light. The instructions have two gaps, some poor grammar and are oddly written in the first person like the box is talking to you. First, Very frustrating is trying to attach the box with the cable to another fixture. No instruction for this. You have to unscrew the cable and insert the cable through a side hole, but screwing it back on is extremely difficult. Tip: put the box on its cable side with the cable poking out. Put a left finger on top of the screw inside the box and turn the screw with the right hand to hold it in place. Second, you have to use numbers 1 to 4 for the code, not like a combination lock with numbers zero through nine. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I do like this, but the finger print doesn't work sometimes. Maybe I didn't properly save my finger print or I scanned the tip of my finger and didn't realize that I have to scan the exact spot again to open it. It won't fit a pistol with a flashlight attached. That wasn't what i was initially thinking about when i got it, but now that i have a flashlight on my S&W M&P, I decided to just cut a larger hole for it. Relatively this is a fair price compared to others I've seen on Amazon that are of higher price than this (that look the exact same). I'm sure the quality build of all of these different ones on Amazon are very similar or exactly the same but just different brand names, or 1 or 2 different features like "room temp display". The media could not be loaded. Product not opening by fingerprint or keypad. The only way to open is by the physical key. It allows me to set the fingerprint and combination by pressing the set key and it beeps twice as if it’s registered. I can enter the combination I created after and it beeps twice as if correct but doesn’t open. If I put the wrong code the keypad flashes red and still doesn’t open. Same with fingerprint if I use different fingerprint. Wouldn’t be completely useless if the key wasn’t on the bottom so the only way to access would be to flip the thing on its side which doesn’t really work when you are trying to get it to slide open. So.. it’s.. useless. ... show more
