As always, XMCOSY+ has come out with another stylish product—rectangular outdoor wall lights. They work as intended. It was easy to both install and connect to the Internet via its App. I will highly recommend it to anybody!

I have to admit, I have a couple of the outdoor two-light sconces from these guys, and they were impressive. Now, I'm bringing that same aesthetic indoors, and wiring this up in my stairwell to keep the lights more consistent. Like the others, the setup could've gone a bit easier. And the app is only so-so... But once it's setup, I had no trouble transferring control over to my Alexa unit, and it claims to work with Home Assistant as well, which I'll try very soon. Will update if things go really far south, but otherwise, I have zero complaints for a light this featureful in this price range. ... show more

    • More Features Than I need but it's Cool

I had an old fluorescent sconce outside my door for years and it wasn't very bright. I tried using a smart switch with it and it wouldn't work so I decided to upgrade it (after 22 years). I wanted something futuristic looking and everything I saw in the local stores was colonial or rural-looking. I saw this fixture and decided it had the modern look I liked. It also had all the smarts I like as all my lights in the house are controlled by Alexa or Google. First of all, this light is digital so it won't waste a lot of electricity. Secondly, it is controlled by an app on my iPhone that lets me set a schedule to turn it on and off or I can set it from dusk to dawn. If I have it off, I can ask Alexa to turn it on. I can set the color of the light to any color in the rainbow. Tomorrow is Saint Patrick's Day so I will leave it on all day on green. It also has a lot of scenes that you can choose from and I feel it's unnecessary to set the color to candlelight, dream, birthday, Victory Day, and many other scenes but I suppose people with a family might like it for the various occasions. There is an option to share the control of the light and if you have multiple lights you can create groups to trigger the lights. There are all kinds of automation you can set up and there is also a setting that can make the colors dance to music that the phone is playing or hears. My one complaint about the light is that the wires that come out of it are really short and it makes it very difficult to hold the light and connect it to the house wiring when you only have a few inches of wire. It took many tries but I finally got it. A few more inches would have saved me a lot of time. Now that I have it installed, it's really cool. ... show more

RGB light bulb technology is everywhere. I personally have switched out so many light bulbs in my house to ones that are RGB capable. Not only that, but lamps, and fixtures also come that way now too. When I saw this, I figured I had to get it, and make my porch light match everything else. I do wish everything could all be tied together, and be used with one remote control instead of several remotes, and several apps lol, but, I have been building this system from pieces. If you got all of the same bulbs, from the same maker, and put them everywhere, I bet you could use just the one remote, or app. But that would be too easy. This porch light is amazing though. It does everything you would expect out of any other RGB floor lamp, or bulb. Maybe even some extras. It even works through your alexa device. It is very easy to hook up, and install. Just a couple of wires, and a couple of screws, and it is up permanently. It stays very securely in place, and is very responsive to the controls. Of course it can be used in regular varying warmth of white light, or has full capabilities in RGB mode. You can pick your favorite color, set it to your favorite temperature of white, have the light rotate through colors, or even have it flash along to music. It is a very functional, feature packed, light fixture. And it's waterproof, and meant for the outdoors. Perfect porch light. Overall, this is a great light fixture.
