The camera is powered with batteries and a solar panel, and connect to your WiFi router or NVR via WiFi, without the need of running any cable. BEWARE. Today i encountered the above screens when trying to access security camera app from Xmarto security camera systems. I bought two systems due to harassments including decapitated squirrel head neighbor carried over with shovel and tossed against my fence, mail tampering at midnight in our mailbox, assault, stolen property. Our local NJ police officer said he didn’t see any problem with decapitated head walked over with shovel by neighbor and tossed against my fence. My wife’s assault case was dismissed even with videos from front and back of assault by local contracted prosecutor who said to judge he didnt feel he had enough evidence to prosecute so was dismissing the case. I was assaulted, had my mail tampered and possibly stolen, and property stolen all with 3 consecutive days. I had to have nails removed from my tire 3x in 1-2.5 weeks. I had a smashed windshield, etc. all in this past year alone. Given these circumstances, i paid for security, Not to waive my right to prosecute without this companies permission. Beware! I would not have purchased this had i know. They would demand i waive my right to prosecute without company permission. I wish i could return both units. Amazon and federal authorities should check whether there are legal violations or civil rights or consumer protections. ... show more

This security camera is really nice to have. It it easy to hook up with wifi. It is solar powered so it is wireless, so no need to run any wires to it. It has a great picture quality during the day and also at night. I like that I can talk to people at my front door without opening the door. I can see who is at my door from the app on my phone. All 4 cameras worked great. Set up to view all four sides of my home. They picked humans in my yard. Kinda slow on notification. Would not pick up on wild animals on location.
