Fine-tip wand creates dense microfoam. Perfect for velvety lattes and intricate art. No water comes out of the group head. What happens? This is usually caused by an air lock in the water line. Run the HOT WATER function until the water flows steadily. If the issue continues, manually prime the system to draw water, then restart the HOT WATER function. Why isn’t my coffee hot enough? Espresso is best enjoyed at 65-75°C, so a warm-to-touch cup is normal. To raise in-cup temperature: run a blank shot to preheat the group head and portafilter, and warm your cup with hot water beforehand. The grinder doesn't start when I press the button. Is it jammed? The grinder has a smart interlock system: it won't start if the bean hopper isn't locked in place. Check both positions. If it stops after grinding very fine, please clean the grinding chamber and coffee chute and it will resume. No espresso comes out, only a few drops drip. Why? This usually happens when the coffee grounds are too fine, the basket is overfilled, or the coffee is tamped too tightly, restricting water flow. Try using a slightly coarser grind, reducing the coffee dose, and tamping evenly. Why doesn’t the pressure gauge show specific bar numbers? The gauge is designed to help monitor the brewing process and guide adjustments to grind size, dose, and tamping. Espresso quality depends on multiple factors, and these adjustments help achieve balanced extraction and great-tasting espresso.
