Used the medium sized tap to plug into my Corvette C8 mirror (red-red, black-black), and it worked upon Engine start up. Plug and play, that's how easy it is. Most difficult part is just removing the plastic trimming to access the wires. Looks way better than plugging my Uniden R8W into the cigarette port and having the cord dangling around. For me, I drive a BMW so I tapped the red wire in with the red cable and black with the brown cable. ... show more

Works well. Great price vs other brands. One point off as I replaced an existing cord and had to splice the wires to use the pins from the old cord as these pins were too wide to fit in the power connector.

Worked well in a Cadillac CT4V Blackwing rear view mirror plug. Pull the black plastic trim off to expose the mirror connector and wires. Ignition power comes from purple wire with gray stripe(positive), black wire on same connector side is negative. I had to disconnect the connector, insert the pos and neg leads and reconnect it.
