This is my 2nd unit. Upstairs Bedroom use. Heater works well ... and the many variations of flame colors, speed, intensity, etc. are pretty 'cool'. Recessed within the wall ... the unit really looks nice, Very easy to remove the front glass [prior to installation] and didn't take long to Fabricate a perimeter 2X4 frame which is inset within the wall studs, A beginner could install this unit ... it is that easy. Took me over an hour to measure, cut drywall, make frame, mount it, then insert Fireplace. A receptacle is nearby ,,, so Power Hook-up took another 15-minutes to run a dedicated outlet [box] for the plug. I highly recommend this nice Fireplace. Arrived in a sturdy box with adequate styrofoam packing - no damage.

I chose to install this fireplace inside the wall. With the button to release the front glass being a lil far back I had to remove the entire fireplace out to remove the glass to get inside to clean behind the glass. Other than that one problem everything else has been good so far. It was fairly easy to install if you pay attention to directions. The heat output seems okay, I only used it once so far. The flame looks really nice.

First off-We really like this fireplace. It looks great when install is completed. This fireplace installs a little different than the other ones I reviewed on Amazon & YouTube. We recessed it into wall & It anchors into the wall behind it. Most other ones have ears/flaps or slots on sides that make mounting it a little easier/straightforward. The depth of the insert wall was about 3” deeper than the 3.86” depth of fireplace so I had to do a little old time carpentry to mount this unit. All that said...it looks great. P.S. Range of remote is not very good. About 3 feet tops but it’s not like you are gonna use it like a TV remote. For the most part you are gonna pick 1 color each day & live with it. Super quiet as well & price was right

My wife has been asking for a fireplace for our room for a couple of months, so I wound up looking at a ton of reviews and decided to go forward and roll the dice with this unit. Absolutely love it! Easy to install, directions are ok, and it looks great. The dimensions for the install were spot on so building the wall unit was a snap. Overall expense for the unit and the build out was roughly $500 all in. Highly recommend this fireplace

Worked exactly as advertised. It was easy to install. The room I have it in is a basement about 220 sq ft and takes about 1 hour to warm up. It’s awesome. The remote is decent. You have to be pretty close to the unit for the remote to work. The color combinations are fun to play with. It isn’t too loud, at all.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BUY FROM SOMEONE ELSE!!! I originally purchased this heater solely because the delivery date was going to be 2 days before we were leaving out of town and this was for our RV that we were driving. As soon as I bought it BEFORE it was even shipped, the delivery date changed, then it changed 3 more time, ultimately not arriving for almost 2 weeks after the original delivery date, at this point I couldn’t cancel it to buy another until it actually arrived. When I reached out to the seller, they were only willing to offer a 10$ discount, however talking to Amazon customer service they offered a full refund once the heater arrived and I was told to go ahead and keep it, I was NEVER asked to return it. Once it finally came, just like a lot of other reviews stated, the remote did not work, again I reached out to the seller and they refused to do anything stating I got a refund and didn’t “return” it as requested (Amazon specifically stat d to keep the heater WITH the full refund, for the trouble). This is horrible customer service by the seller, the heater DOESNT produce the amount of heat it states, and the “safety features” also DONT work as it described, it’s nothing more than an expensive tv that shows a pretty fire scene and expensive night light!! Go to duraflame you’ll spend less, their heaters actually work, and they actually stand by their products nomatter what, as the other heater I purchased from them was also refunded bcause it came a day late (even though I didn’t ask for it to be refunded) yet they STILL sent a new handle and screw for the door bcause it wasn’t in the box.

Love this" fire place" We have now turned it on just for the ambiance and not the heat. We love the setting that cycles through all the different colors. Its been a great addition to our living room. Its pretty quiet when the heat is turned on I wouldn't say silent but quiet for sure
