Top Amazon Reviews

🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The extension wand is widely appreciated for its length adjustability, rigid construction, and versatility in performing a variety of cleaning tasks from gutter maintenance to power washing home exteriors. It fits securely onto pressure washers and channels water effectively. Users have noted a higher torque reaction which may require some getting used to. Minor issues include the weight making it challenging to manage at full length and a reported leak with an unsuitable o-ring.

Pros

  • 👍 Adjustable length for diverse cleaning needs
  • 👌 Sturdy build delivering excellent pressure
  • 👏 Multipurpose functionality from gutter cleaning to stain and algae removal
  • 🙌 Avoids the need for tall ladders thanks to its extension

Cons

  • 👎 Weight can make the wand somewhat unmanageable when fully extended
  • 👀 Increased torque reaction requires careful handling
  • 💧 One user reported a leak potentially due to an unfit o-ring

Should I Buy It?

Yes, the extension wand is a good purchase for someone looking for a multifunctional, adjustable tool to assist in a variety of cleaning activities. Bear in mind to handle with care due to the torque reaction and check for any potential leaks.

  • Good quality
It is very well made, but the pressure makes it unstable and difficult to operate. Product is good but the idea needs to be perfected. Best is to strap it on a painting pole to avoid the bending under pressure z

  • You can’t beat it for the price
Yes it may leak a little, yes it’s flimsy and you have to use some strength to hold it above your head fully extended but for the price… it works great!!! I got it to do side jobs like cleaning gutters and siding! Paid for itself 10 times over on one job! What a great little must have accessory for your power washer ... show more

  • Used successfully
I read reviews before ordering. Many people reported two issues that prevented them from using the product: 1. Water leaking. This can be solved easily. In addition of tightening the connection using a tool, I used teflon tape to cover the connection threads. This is common sense for connecting metal water pipes. 2. Hard to hold. This is mostly due to the downward water pressure. I was able to use the product by first holding the nozzle away from the surface, and then gradually move closer. This way, I was able to get used to the force from the water pressure. Having an angle also helps. I didn’t give five star because the quality can be better. The pipe is not as sturdy as I expected. There is no Teflon tape in the package. The connection ring is low quality, most likely single use (they do include a few extra). ... show more

  • Easy to assemble
Really like this product, hoping it will be of used to me to clean my gutters from the ground. Haven’t tried it yet, but it seems like it’s gonna work well.

  • Not the best solution all the time.
The physics behind this just don't work. 1. If using this as a replacement for a lift or scaffolding then I would simply say don't. This works fine for shorter distances approximately 3-4 feet but personally found it a miserable experience at anything longer than that. The project I was working on was power washing the house which requires reaching to the top (about 25-30 feet up). As I said the lower areas are manageable but once you get above 10 feet ideally you need a lift. For one you can no longer see the area you are attempting to wash and two the machine works better when sprayed head on instead of an angle. Using a ladder bought me 6 more feet but after that it seemed to dangerous due to pressure of the spray kicking back. This product was unable to effectively clean those hard to reach areas. 2. While the wand can support 3-4 links without an issue once you get beyond that the weight at the end becomes too much and next thing you know you are constantly blowing out the washers. It was maddening to keep stopping to fix the washers. 3. I was pretty excited about the angled accessories but quickly found them to be useless. The amount of pressure in the wand when it hits that angle kicks back so hard that I was unable to control the wand. While I suppose this could be user error I really think it's just comes down to physics. To wrap things up if you are looking to extend your wand a couple feet this is a great product for the investment. Beyond that I would say find another solution. ... show more

  • Garbage, just garbage!
Bought it last December and finally got around to trying it out today. No instructions at all but seemed pretty self explanatory. Put the extension poles together and honestly I thought it felt a little flimsy, but I figured that it should still do the job. Attached an elbow piece to the end to find that it doesn't lock in place, it spins around leading me to wonder how am I going to control the direction it sprays.... But again, I figured they knew what they were doing when designing it. Connected it to my gun and held it horizontal to the ground so I can get a feel for it. Pressed the button and the entire thing flipped full force over my head and slammed down onto my car hood, leaving a couple deep dents. A couple more inches, it would have smashed out my windshield. Ok, I'm ticked off but gave it another shot. This time holding it with more leverage and hit the button. It still was forcing my arm up but I kept it down. As it sprayed, the entire extension was bending backward hard. I just could not see how this can actually be usable at this point! Messed with it some more and it would still bend, this time right at the joint connected to the gun. Now it's spraying everywhere despite my attempts to straight it back out and fix the connection. Done, it's now in the trash. The worst purchase I have ever made on Amazon in my life. ... show more

  • I works well enough
Works good enough not to need a ladder for hard to reach gutters. We use a 3000 psi PW
