I am reviewing the XICHENGSHIDA plastic uncapping bucket frame support tool. The purpose of this device is to reliably support a shallow or deep frame (shown in my photo) while it is being uncapped or scraped over a bucket that catches the honey and cappings wax. I have used used pieces of wood for this purpose, but inevitably the wood slides off the rim of the bucket, or the frame slips off the wood. This device fits firmly on the top of a five gallon bucket, and it has an indentation to receive the end of a shallow or deep (shown) frame to hold the frame firmly in place. I titled this review a "Good Value..." because I have seen these for sale elsewhere for almost twice the price. For those of us who aren't harvesting more than a few hundred pounds of honey or can't afford an automatic uncapping machine, this really helps the process. The plastic is easy to clean.

I was new to this setup when I got this and am very happy with them. Helps me keep from making as much of a mess trying to hold frames. Both medium and deep frames fit in them and the keep the frame stable while you clear the capping. These have been a real helping hand. I do recommend.

This product is very well made. It perfectly fits on a 5 gallon bucket and holds shallow, medium, or deep frames for easy uncapping. Very pleased with the product.

I won't have a honey harvest this year, but these look like they will do the job nicely. I like that they are made for either deeps or shallow frames and have the holes on both side for lefty or righty use (I'm a lefty) and usually get left out. Good heavy plastic.

I only have a couple of hives and don't need the expense of having a large tote and filter system to uncap my frames. I used it for the first time this weekend, and it works great. Held on to the edge of the 5 gal bucket tightly, and the notches allow for the end of the frames to sit securely in the slot. I ended up using the crush and strain method of extraction for those frames, and I was able to scrape the comb and honey directly into the bucket. Will definitely be getting a lot of use out of this.

Haven't tested it with a frame yet, but it seems to fit a bucket just fine, and I think it should help greatly with our first time harvesting honey this year, I think it'll be a sturdy holder for the frame. It'll be a good tool and I'd buy again.

This is going to come in very handy when I uncap my honey bee frames. It fits tightly onto a a 5 gallon bucket rim. I like the cutouts that I can stand the ends of a frame into so they will hold as I uncap the wax.
