This rail is perfect for my new wooden steps on my back porch It only took about 30 minutes to install, but one big thing to note is that the drill bit size the instructions state to use is too big! I had to go down 2 sizes, otherwise the screws were not tight enough and the rail was wobbly. Once I determined the correct bit size, it went up easily and is very sturdy.

We need to add a step from the porch to the house. Once installed is was apparent that my handicapped husband would need a railing. Saw this and decided to give it a.try. My son glued and screwed the post into place. It is sturdy, and easy to hold onto. He can now traverse this one step safely.

Bought 3 of them to put on steps going from house into game room.. they were easy to install. They're beautiful and sturdy! Have no loops or place where a piece of clothing could hook on. Very happy with them. Very happy.. would highly recommend

Liked the handrail enough to buy a 2nd. But, the hole on Part E was drilled in the incorrect spot, on the 2nd. Something that we did not notice (and why would we?) until we came to putting that exact part on. We had to drill a new hole, something we luckily could do, though it left a 'spare' hole in the wrong part of the rail cap. Something we could live with rather than pack up ALL the parts, as that was the only solution. Did not find any way to contact seller directly to replace just the one part. So just a tip: Look at ALL of the items carefully, which we thought we did....and pay close attention to Part E and where the holes are drilled. Other than that, we did like the looks, the stability and the ease of assembly of the rails.

Needed a one step handrail going out of the back porch. Like the design and look but....... Was a challenge to use to use the concrete bolts as they would not tighten. Will have to find something else to keep the hand rail stable. Will update this review once use new bolts or try row it away and try something else. Looks like wood mounting would be fine. UPDATE: Could not get concrete bolts to tighten. Easily scratches so looks like cheap junk. Update #2: Finally got it into concrete but scratch it and rust quickly appears.
