This set is fairly small, but that's exactly what I was looking for. I have a travel watercolor kit that fits into a slim tin box that I can slip into my back pocket. The painting kit contains everything I need for doing a small painting. The only thing I was missing was something to help me get straight lines and square corners when necessary. I needed something that would fit in the tin box where space is at a premium since it already contains a tiny set of watercolors in a case that's about as big as a credit card, pencil, sharpener, water brush, eraser, .05mm pen, a couple of small pieces of watercolor paper, and a half sheet of paper towel. The 3/4/5 triangle from this set is perfect. It's barely longer than 4 inches high and thin (less than 2mm), but not flimsy or flexible. It fits inside my tin, under the other items, and is so thin that the lid still closes easily. I like the fact that it's marked in metric on one side and inches on the other. (I prefer metric, but here in the States, most things are still in inches.) The markings are precise and extend right to the edge. Also, it's easy for me to see the markings because they're light colored on a black background. Additionally, I've had no problems with anything scratching or rubbing off after several months of use. I've also used the ruler and protractor. The case keeps everything organized when I'm not using things. I'm really happy with the quality of this purchase.

I’m very happy with this little set and have been using it, for woodworking, quite some time. Since I started using metric, measurements have become so much easier. I like the quality, the finish, the color, and the easy to read markings.

I have mixed feelings about this set of rulers and angle-related implements. I got it mainly for the protractor but was disappointed to find that it is very small, only 3.8 inches long at the base. And yes, it is 0.8 inch, not ¾ inch. I was shocked when I realized the Imperial measurements are in 1/10 inch increments for all these rulers. I have never seen that before. The bad part is that the tick marks are close enough to standard inch markings (1/8ths, 1/16ths) that if you aren’t paying attention, you will interpret them as 1/8 inch marks. As with the protractor, the two triangles are also quite small. The 30-60-90 degree triangle is 5-7/16 inch along the hypotenuse. The 45-45-90 degree triangle is about 4-3/4 inch along the hypotenuse. All the pieces except the protractor are marked in clear white numbers on a black metal body with metric on one side and Imperial (in 1/10ths of an inch) on the other. The protractor is clearly marked with white lettering on a black body but it is only marked on one side. The bodies are aluminum and are a reasonable thickness to make the rulers rigid. These are well made rulers. They would be better suited to working on small drawings rather than my plan of using them in a shop. They are clear, easy to read, and should be durable, but the scale is wrong for most of my applications and the protractor isn’t big enough to measure angles accurately across larger areas. Good quality but the 1/10 inch scale just won’t be useful for me. Maybe there is a specific discipline that uses this scale? If so, and the work involves small drawings, this is a great set, but not for me.

I occasionally build structures for dioramas and table-top wargaming. Sheets and strips of balsa, basswood, plastic, MDF, and mystery materials require cutting. Proper dimensions, straight edges and precise angles are usually required. Having an edge to cut against that is not, itself, cut is a "must-have" feature. Dislike: Nothing It would be nice if: The ruler markings end short of the ruler's end. For many purposes, this protection of the end markings is a good thing. However, when trying to snuggle the ruler into a corner to measure an as-assembled distance, the end gap must be taken into account. Noting that distance on the ruler would be a nice-to-have additional feature (I readily solved it, but the need could be frustrating to some). Like: Metal. I can run my X-Acto knife next to it. English and metric markings; English on one side, metric on the other (yes... I use both types of units depending upon other components in the design). Markings easy to read. Not too big or small.

Very practical to have in my backpack. Love the matte black color and easy to read. I have seen other metal rulers that to much money but this is inexpensive. All are same size so they can all fit together in the case it comes with.
