The media could not be loaded. I recently rented a row home in Baltimore. So our house is very tall and skinny and has very slick hardwood steps. Although my dog is pretty young and didn’t seem to be having too hard a time on the stairs, I didn’t want him to slip and tumble. I bought these for the main staircase in our house since that is the one my dog uses the most often. So far, so good! I just installed them, so I can’t speak to their durability yet, but the installation was super easy. I saw other reviews saying the plastic backing was hard to remove, but I didn’t think that was the case at all. I used my hair dryer like the instructions suggested and the backing peeled right off. I really like how the bottom is grippy, but not adhesive. It seems sturdy— like it won’t move as people and dogs are coming up and down the stairs. But it was also easy to adjust and center as I was installing. We are also renting our home, so I imagine it will be easy to remove them in 2 years when our lease is up. I will say the edges are sticking up a little bit, but I am hoping they will flatten over time. I uploaded a video of my dog coming down the staircase that I have not added treads to compared to my dog coming down the stairs I installed the treads on today. The ones with the new treads definitely seem easier!

These COSY HOMEER stair treads look great and feel soft, and the brown color works nicely with my wooden steps. I bought the 15-piece set and was happy with the size and overall quality. I originally thought the bottom had adhesive, but it doesn’t—it just has a slightly tacky surface meant for grip. While they stayed in place okay, I didn’t want to risk them shifting with kids and cats running around, so I ended up using some glue to keep them secure. Once fixed, they’ve been great—comfortable, quiet, and much safer. Just be aware you may need to secure them more firmly depending on your needs.

These are a dawg saver! We installed new flooring and our lil monster needs them. Now she isn't slipping and sliding. They stay put when vacuuming too!! The backing is tacky and they don't move around. They are very well made! We purchased the stairs tread ones initially and they worked so well we ordered 6 more of the 30x24's. Although I wish this company sold larger sizes for the steps and landing, I love the way these turned out. I specifically chose this brand after reading that the sticky part is not actual adhesive, it’s more of a sticky rubber that can be easily pulled up/adjusted/reused and still has stick to it! Strong enough still that they do not move around when walking on them. No strong smell straight from the box either. The carpet did shed a bit upon first opening but that’s expected, after vacuuming the shedding has stopped. Great for my dogs who hate hard wood in our new home, and seem cushioned enough to be more safe for kiddos. Definitely recommend.

These are amazing!!! After two years of constantly having to adjust the stair carpets that were supposed to be grippy and not move around I broke down and bought these. Super high quality, soft, nice boarder trim. I’m so impressed with the silicone strips on the bottom and they came with a protective film on them to maintain their grip and not get covered with carpet fibers. They really stay in place and look great.

Color: Perfect! Size: Wish there were more options but they will do just fine. Stickiness: easy to install and move around. Comfort: Hubby noted that they were surprisingly plush. I had little issue removing the plastic backing. Just took my time and pulled at a sharp angle. I did contact the company regarding no landing rug for the color I purchased and they said that they are in production so hopefully I will be able to purchase that soon. Our wood stairs are a dark smoky brown. I purchased the light brown and it complimented the stair color perfectly. Very pleased!
