My wife and I are no strangers to the Ebike world. About 1.5 years ago we were able to scoop up a pair of the swagatron ebikes on sale. They had the fat tire we were looking for at a price point that was extremely affordable but they were marketed for kids. Regardless they suited us very well and still do. I am 6ft and my wife is 5'7". We agreed that we wanted to dig further into this new hobby of ours and scanned amazon for options. What drew me to this one was not only the price point which compared is actually very good for what you get, but the features really caught my eye. What was lacking in the swagatrons were the shocks. What a game changer. No more feeling the bumps of the street!!! This is my number one love so far. The shocks are amazing for my 185lb body! Ive taken this on city streets as well as the back streets and so far it has held up amazingly. Assembly was super easy. I did have a minor mishap where the gear button box was damaged upon arrival but customer service took care of that really quickly with a shipped replacement and instructions. It was a quick exchange and I was on the road testing this out in no time. The large screen was something I hadn't seen in other models which caught my eye. Another amazing feature is that you can attach a usb phone charger directly to the battery to keep you going for the entire ride. I got a lot of looks from my neighbors.. They thought I had bought a dirt bike but were wowed when I told them it was an ebike. It definitely has a presence.. Sturdy, smooth ride is what you should expected.. As for the batter life I don't know yet so I will update it. Speed wise so far I've gotten up to 28 miles. My wife who is lighter than me is going to try it out and see how fast she can go but this thing has some amazing zip.. I haven't tried it downhill so I am sure this thing will fly. I did purchase a phone holder - the velcro type to keep my phone safe. If you are thinking of attacking a rack you can possibly get the ones that attached to the tire gear. This bike does not have a seat stem so you will need to find something that can work..Amazon is the place to search for that. All in all I feel very satisfied with this purchase and see lots of fun riding ahead for my family. 5 stars so far!!! I will update this review once I get a feel for the battery life. Love how easy it was to finish the minor assembly. It is so cool looking, as well as solid parts and design. It rides well and could not be happier with it. Battery is great, The dual set of keys for both ignition and the battery and the included bike rack lock is awesome. Great fat tires, and solid kickstand and nice big solid bright light in the front and a horn and pedal assist with the 3 levels of speed are just fantastic. I have no complaints as I am excited for many years of use and HappyRun seems to be doing a great job. Don't get suckered into buying from a local bike shop and paying through the nose! ... show more

    • BEWARE! No Warranty Support. No service of any kind!
We ordered online because we needed it delivered. The bike had decent reviews but here are facts we didn’t know and you SHOULD NOT BUY FROM THIS BRAND: 1. It is very difficult to get a bike shop to work on an “off brand”. This is an off brand. So, I cannot find a bike shop that will work on it, especially related to the electric components. Makes it challenging since it is an electric bike… I live in San Diego which is a fair sized city. Imagine the challenges in smaller communities aren’t any better. 2. The company offers NO warranty support. It appears to be out of China (though they work hard to appear otherwise) which means they are not in the same time zone or share the same language. I have reached out 5 times over a throttle issue that arose in month 2 - brief response to effort 3, no response since. What to do if they don’t honor warranty? Who knows? 3. The website takes you nowhere. The telephone numbers lead to no one. The bike sits in the garage. Unused for months. 4. Buy at your own risk. ... show more

    • Fun bike but a few defects
Bike was pretty easy to build, the front brake lever came faulty though and the kickstand leans the bike too far over so its basically useless. Bike is great looking and overall decent quality for the price.

    • Shocks could be better
Seems to be well built, shocks are better than no shocks. Over all pretty nice bike. Priced right, easy to assemble because is mostly done. I checked all the bolts for tightness and all were good. Not a neck snapper but with the half charge that came on the battery it got up to 25mph in a short distance. I'm pleased with the bike. Fast shipper, 3 days early. Well worth the money ... show more

    • First e-bike for me...
So far I love it. Maybe it's because it's my first e-bike and I'm not that picky yet, but other than the mechanical brakes, which I'm going to upgrade to hydraulic, I'm pretty satisfied with everything else. Smooth ride, handles well, looks cool. What else can one ask for when doing recreational riding? As far as longevity, we'll see, but overall seems to be built well and sturdy. For assembly, it's not difficult if you have another person helping you out while lifting the bike to put in the front wheel. I did it by myself, and though not a stranger to lifting weights, it was a bit challenging, as the bike kept on wanting to fall over for some reason ) Anyways, having another pair of hands might come in handy.
