I purchased this bed cover for my truck about a year and a half ago. It was great, simple to install and fit perfectly for my truck. Starting a few months ago towards last years I noticed a rust spot and at first I didn’t believe it was a big deal, but over the next few month it got much bigger and at this point I’m not sure if is going to get even worst and cause major problems. For over 659 dollars I excepted it to last longer. I tried emailing them hoping this might be covered by the 5 year defects warranty but after months no reply. I honestly don’t know if this thing will even last that much longer at the rate it’s rusting.

The product went on super easy after looking at a "how to" video on YouTube and had a basic assembly understanding. So far, no leaks and looks great but instructions needs clarity.

Great product and looks good. I like the low profile and it locks down so when the tailgate is closed you can't open this cover. Only the 2 sections of this 3 part cover closest to the tailgate fold open. The last third does not fold up against the rear window as other brands do but it is designed to have the whole cover come off if you need the whole truck bed open. I installed it myself and no problem except when you have to lift the cover into the bed of the truck. Its pretty heavy by yourself and 2 people would make it easier. The directions are well done. So far no leaks driving in a moderate rain at 65 mph. I do have water leak in going through the carwash but to be expected and not bad as the photo shows. It seem to only come in from the tailgate not along the sides or front of the bed. It seems to be well made with good materials. I've only had installed for 6 weeks but would highly recommend it so far.

I held off buying a tonneau cover when I bought my Ford Lightning truck. I thought there would be better ones on the OEM market. The XCover model had good reviews on Amazon, I ordered it. After opening the box I looked for the instructions. It was only in English and the instructions left a lot to be desired. A simple exploded view of how all the parts fit together would have made installing a whole lot easier. The mounting rails were not indicated as to which was left and right. After spending time trying to figure what was forward and aft, I finally slid the mounting clip and latch clip in at the right place. The rail mounting clips seem to be a bit of an engineering overkill but better safe than sorry. I think they need to do more shopping at IKEA. IKEA's assembly instructions rarely have any language on them and are mostly pictorial. No need to print many issues in various languages.
