This is a great fan and really sends the breeze. It has a substantial base so it won't tip easily and it wasn't difficult to assemble. It took me about 25 minutes from unboxing to fully assemble. Wish it had a remote but it's still a very nice fan.

The Xcity fan arrived undamaged in just 3 days. I'd received the Arlime 18" fan earlier, but it didn't oscillate. I returned that fan and am happy to report that this fan oscillates, and very smoothly (unlike some other fans). This fan's shell is plastic, but the fan feels very sturdy and heavy. Assembly is easy, but not quite "no-tool" as the description states: a Phillips screwdriver is needed to attach the back of the cover to the motor! The fan moves a lot of air, and seems quieter than the Arlime. The Xcity fan should work nicely in my exercise room. ... show more

Our old fan concked out on us and had to toss. Saw this so we got. It came and it was much heavier than any other fan I've got on Amazon. Opened it up and it was the motor with the weight.
