  • Great Quality
It was hard for me to decide where to purchase my Xbox One S because I have never made a purchase this large and honestly I am quite frugal. I ended up purchasing this because the cost was slightly cheaper due to it being refurbished, but I like refurbished, that means it is fixed up to be like new. And it was, the console came in a nice custom box that said "Refurbished", there were no dents or scuff marks, it looked and worked like new. I do not know who covers the 90-day warranty mentioned in the description, but I think it is Microsoft themselves. After I registered my console online, it showed it had a warranty that was good for 9 months. Everything about the console was great, I just wish it cost less. I got it for 229, the regular is 249. That means I paid about $20 or 8% less than retail for a refurbished product. Another note, the 500GB is actually about 364GB after updates, if you want more than that consider an external hard drive that is at least 256GB large or larger capacity console. • Bluray Player Terrible
I don't consider this a huge improvement over the Xbox One. My main issue here is with the 4K BluRay player. It lags and there are constant complaints of this online. A/V sync issues, etc. The user interface is terrible and confusing and often glitches in the menus. Everything else works great - but if you're like me and had a working Xbox One, and were looking for something to play 4K UHD discs on, this is a disappointment. Until they figure out a way to fix that, it's not worth the upgrade if you don't truly need one. Run your old Xbox One into the ground first and then splurge on the One X. ... show more

  • Wifi doesn't work
When it arrived and I tried to set it up, it asked if I wanted to use wifi or an ethernet connection. I wanted to use wifi and went through the steps to select my network and enter the password. It wouldn't connect. I had to do troubleshooting on the Xbox/Microsoft website (a bad sign when you have to troubleshoot something you just got) to see that I would need to set it up with an ethernet cable first and then switch to wifi after I got through setup. I've had several xbox models before (new, used, refurbished) and have never had to do that. Should have returned it that day. But I kept it and it worked fine on wifi for a while. Then one day I turned it on and it wouldn't connect to Xbox Live...said I needed to setup internet. So I tried to setup my wifi network again. Wouldn't work. So I had to connect it via ethernet again and tried to switch it over to wifi like I did the day I got it. Still won't connect to wifi, so for now I have to leave it connected to the ethernet cable, which is annoying because it has to be in a room I don't want it in. My other wifi enabled devices connect to wifi without issue. I know it's refurbished, but when you pay for something, you expect it to work correctly. I have to see if I still have time to return it. ... show more
