I’ve tried a lot of hoods from square hood, JJC to Fujifilms OEM hoods and this has been my favorite so far. It has the best balance between cosmetics and functionality. Installation was easy and the fit was snugged enough stay aligned when installed. I would recommend this over the others

I wanted a hood that would sit flush with the lens. Being that the camera is so new there is not many around. This hood was made for the VI so it would sit flush with no gap.

I purchased this hood exactly one month ago for my fuji x100VI. Initially, it aligned properly, but after using the camera a few times, the hood moved into the misaligned position shown in the accompanying photo. Bottom line: it's no longer straight. When I remove the hood and re-screw it, the hood continues to land in the wrong place. I'm now looking for a replacement as I presume the misalignment probably will get worse. ... show more

looks like they didn't even test this product because clearly the x100vi lens cover is not compatible with it. Haoge support offers buying their cap as the solution for their misleading listing.
