  • Great Lens Adapter
Having had many Viltrox products over the years, I ordered this EF-M2II when I needed something to adapt my Canon lenses to my Micro Four-Thirds cameras. This did not disappoint. I've used it with both Canon and Sigma lenses without any issues. The AF seems quick enough and I am not seeing much if any loss in quality (just the usual you normally get with lens adapters). Again, Viltroz comes through with another great adapter! ... show more

  • It works forBMPCC4k!
Great for my BMPCC4k! Make sure to update the firmware on the speed booster if you update your camera. Also auto focus won’t work, but considering I do everything manually anyway it’s fine.

  • Works like a champ - Canon EF-S 17-55mm f2.8 to BMPCC4K
Snapped on perfectly, fits snug, and the BMPCC4K reads the open iris at f2.0. Zero problems communicating. The lens has become popular with the Black Magic crowd lately, and for good reason, so if you're looking to go this route, Viltrox works, not sure about Metabones, but it's 3x the price.

  • Incredible for money!!!
This adapter is incredible for the money. However you will need to rotate the element inside the unit to achieve proper infinity focus. I had to update the firmware for it to work with the pocket 4K. Finally, do not use this adapter past the lenses advertises t stop. For example on the sigma 18/35, this adapter stays sharp all the way to f1.8, but when you use the “boosted” range of f1.2 to f1.8, it becomes a blurry mess. This is where the metabones is better. However it is way more expensive and if you’re happy doing the infinity focus tweak as well as using it within what the lens was designed for, you’re going to be extremely happy. Perfect pairing for the pocket 4K, as dropping the money on the metabones for the pocket 4K puts you at the same price as just getting a pocket 6k anyways. ... show more

  • Fully works with my Blackmagic PCC4K
I used to have a similar Commlite brand adapter, but it was not compatible with Blackmagic PCC4K camera. With this Viltrox adapter, I can use all the features that my EF lenses have. Now I can use the focus by touching the camera screen, controlling the iris and the stabilization that the lens has. In addition, this adapter does have frequent updates. ... show more

  • The metabones killer?
For those looking for a cheaper alternative to the metabones, look no further. Great quality, made of aluminum alloy, so its strong and durable. There is some wiggle in the mount (between adapter and lens) but it won’t affect performance

  • Really Good Adapter
It took some extra searching online to figure out why I couldn't focus my lens at infinity, but once I adjusted it, it appears to work great.

  • Very happy with this decision
I have had this just a few days and I will say that my first impression was great. I honestly have not put it through much work but so far I’m impressed. The autofocus seems to work with my GH4 on higher end lenses more than the LUMIX G7. This is more than I can say for other lens regains I’ve purchased that were more expensive. I may purchase another. ... show more
