  • Assembly instructions are useless/non existent
Received the bike earlier than expected. The only assembly instruction available it a YouTube video set at double speed with no audio. It skips important items like how to open the brake pads to allow the wheel to be assembled. When installing the front drive shaft there is a coupling that needs to be fastened to the wheel housing. The instruction manual talks about changing the oil but nothing on how to locate the drain. I finished the assembly and hooked up the battery but I have no power so either the battery is bad or I need to see if there is a wire disconnected. Unless you are a mechanic you will struggle with this as the video has a lot missing. I’ll update if I can get it powered up. Update: I was able to get it running and it is running well. I’ve updated the star rating. ... show more

  • Quality and longevity
Color: Red
The scooter isn't worth the money because after 5000 miles everything starts to brake one thing after the next no matter how well maintained you keep it. Then you barely can find parts for the bike when you need them. So in my opinion the scooter ain't worth the money you or spending 😡

  • It Works, But We Didn't Receive the Scooter We Ordered
Color: Blue
First of all, the scooter we ordered is not the scooter we received. We ordered the X-PRO Oahu with 12-inch wheels, but the scooter that arrived is branded MVP and has 10-inch wheels. The two scooters are basically the same in appearance, but the wheel size does matter. Generally, 12-inch wheels provide a slightly larger wheelbase and can give the scooter a better ride. I ordered this scooter around March 1, 2026, expecting to receive a new scooter. After receiving it, I discovered that the scooter was actually manufactured in 2022. That means this scooter apparently sat in a warehouse somewhere for roughly four years before it was sold to me. That's not what I expected when purchasing a new scooter. Assembly: The scooter comes about 80% assembled, so there is still some assembly required. Unfortunately, not everything lined up properly during assembly. Some of the screws would not tighten properly, and some parts remained loose. The plastic parts in particular could have been fitted together much better. Headlights: The headlights leave a lot to be desired. They don't really illuminate the road well enough for safe nighttime riding. They are more like having a small flashlight on the front of the scooter than having proper headlights. Because my grandson rides this scooter, I immediately installed auxiliary lights so he could see the road better and so oncoming traffic could see him when he was riding home after dark. One thing I did check before starting the scooter was the valve adjustment. I've seen other owners mention that the valves can arrive out of adjustment, so I checked them before starting it. Surprisingly, the valve adjustment on ours was correct. The age of the scooter is now becoming a concern. After sitting in a warehouse for approximately four years, we're starting to see some problems that appear to be related to the age of the rubber components. Some of the hoses are becoming hard and starting to crack and fail. This is exactly the kind of issue I was concerned about when I discovered the manufacturing date. A scooter can be technically "new" because it has never been sold or ridden, but rubber, seals, hoses, and other materials can still deteriorate simply from sitting for years. In my opinion, these are problems you shouldn't expect to start dealing with on a scooter being sold as new. I did contact the seller immediately after receiving the scooter. I was livid at first, because I expected a new scooter matching the one I ordered, not one manufactured four years earlier and with different-sized wheels. To the seller's credit, they did work with me and offered a substantial partial refund to make up for the difference. I had asked for a larger adjustment, but they ultimately offered what they were willing to offer. While it wasn't everything I had requested, I do appreciate that they were willing to work with me rather than simply dismissing the problem. So, does it work? For the most part, yes. The scooter is running and doing what it is supposed to do. If the correct scooter had been delivered, the assembly had been cleaner, the plastic parts lined up properly, and we weren't dealing with age-related problems from a scooter that had been sitting for years, I would probably have given it 4 stars. For now, I'm giving it 3 stars. The scooter works, and the seller did make an effort to resolve the issue, but receiving a different wheel size and model than what was ordered, along with receiving a scooter manufactured roughly four years earlier, are significant issues that I feel future buyers should know about. ... show more
