Update: just one of the update everybody we were missing the parts on this dirt bike when it arrived and contacted the seller about 5 days later they arrived as well as a few extra odds and ends. After getting it all together for my son to write it it is everything he wanted. A consideration for parents this thing is quicker than you think it'll be. I hopped in the Harley and paste my son and my 9-year-old was doing 25 mph on the darn thing it was amazing. The quality of the parts the plastics the decals are all outstanding for the price point. The brakes are a little underpowered and rinky dinky but do the job. I might replace them in the future we will see all in all I would recommend to any of my friends and family this bike and the seller in particular we are thrilled with them thank you so much old post:Arrived missing parts and the box was soaked with oil presumably from the motor. Order this for my son's birthday when it arrived The box of saturated with oil and parts were missing from the box. I will update this review upon the conclusion of getting my issues resolved.

I got this for my 5 1/2 year old grandson to ride on my farm. Assembly was easy. It comes with a tool bag and all the hardware, but having real tools makes assembly a little quicker. Assembly was to put on the handlebars, put on the front wheel and then lift the back and put a bolt on the rear shock. That was it. Basically a couple brackets and a couple bolts. Starts easily and runs fine. The idle was set a bit high so I turned it down (just a screw on the side of the carb). But it wasn't so high that would have been a problem, just a bit high for me. I installed the universal training wheels that I bought separately ($100) on Amazon. And he took off. He had no riding experience at all - not even a bicycle. So we taught him how to open the throttle to go and release it to stop. He never uses the brakes, the bike slows down fine on it's own. Made for "easy terrain." My farm is mostly sand and short cut grass. It worked well there. If he goes out into the higher mowed field then it put a lot more strain on the friction clutch - again it has a training wheel bar on it that adds drag in high grass. After 20 minutes in high grass I could smell the friction drive getting hot. In normal riding conditions (and perhaps without the training bars) I don't think that would have happened. But this isn't an "off-road dirt bike" clutch. It's made for kids on easy terrain. Top speed is about as fast as a kid could ride a bicycle. So quick, but not too crazy. Once my 5 1/2 year old got the hang of looking where he was going then he was fine going around obstacles and doing U-Turns with it. It has only been 2 days, but I'm happy so far for what he is going to do with it. It's an upgrade from an electric car type toy but not a high power dirt bike. Safe for younger kids with training wheels and adult supervision.

Love the low seat height, light weight, and overall design. This is a simple machine that is perfect for kids getting started! My 4 year old was very comfortable & well-balanced on a pedal bike, and was dying for a dirt bike on his 5th birthday. We ordered/gifted it a bit early due to COVID-19 stay-at-home orders, and none of us were disappointed. PRO: + Plastic engine cover/guard to prevent burns from tip-overs + 4-stroke engine + Fully automatic for kids + Easy 1-2 pull start (nearly every time) + Low seat height + Lightweight + Very easy to assemble + Simple, secure packaging (product arrived without damage) + Safe throttle response/power band CON: - Hard-to-reach brake levers for little hands - Lever-only braking (the previous issue could be alleviated with pedal rear break) - Strange mounting position for front fender - No adjustment possible on throttle - No remote or tip-over shutoff, but can't complain at the pricepoint I'd buy this again in a heartbeat!

Do not buy this. The carb is trash, brakes will quit working and eventually the engine blows. This happened within weeks of riding. My son is 65 pounds and we took all the proper care and maintenance. The seller is unwilling to work with you for repairs. They have no refund, won’t allow a return and Amazon can offer no help because they are a “third party” seller. Horrible experience and my son is left with no bike to ride and $400 out the window.

These bikes were awesome for my kids for Christmas. I purchased a boy and girl bike for ages 5 and 8. Both ride really well. My kids were able to easily ride with instructions given by us. I love the speed it is able to provide for a child’s age and the size of the bikes.

The media could not be loaded. My son is 10, a little small for his age, and he’s been able to ride one of those cheap Razor electric bikes that go about 5-6 mph and so this was his Christmas gift, and his first real experience at a gas powered dirt bike. I assembled it in about 30 minutes with the tools provided, and boy has it kept a smile on his face for days. It’s been the best $400ish I spent (with shipping and all included) and it’s definitely something I was 50/50 on, but after seeing how cool it’s been, I’m already looking to buy a bigger one for myself. It rips around in anything you ask it to, it goes pretty quick with him on it, and I’m a little over 200 lbs and it will rip around a bit with just me on there as well. It’s a blast and I hope this is your sign to buy it. Such an awesome little bike for the price. 10/10 would recommend!
