šŸš€ Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The reviews of this motorcycle present a mixed picture, highlighting the excitement and satisfaction from new motorcycle owners alongside concerns from those facing mechanical troubles. Overall, the bike is appreciated for its affordability and aesthetics, being a suitable option for beginners or those seeking a lightweight, nimble ride. However, issues with non-starting bikes and durability problems with certain parts like the kickstand and clutch cable have been noted. The bike's performance on highways is questioned, and its best use seems to be for city commuting or enjoyable backroad rides.

Pros

  • šŸļø Great beginner motorcycle, offering an easy introduction to riding
  • šŸ› ļø Comes well-packaged and secured, minimizing shipping damages
  • šŸ”§ Some users had positive DIY maintenance experiences, enhancing familiarity with the bike
  • šŸ’°Affordable, offering good value for those new to motorcycling or on a budget
  • šŸ‘Œ Adequate for city use and enjoyable on backroads, with a design catering to new riders

Cons

  • ā— Issues with the bike not starting upon delivery for some users
  • āš™ļø Durability concerns with parts like the kickstand and clutch cable
  • šŸš« Limited customer service response to mechanical problems
  • šŸ Not suited for high-speed highway use, with performance best limited to city and moderate backroad speeds

Should I Buy It?

If you're new to motorcycling and looking for an affordable, lightweight bike predominantly for city riding and occasional backroad fun, this motorcycle could be a suitable choice. However, be prepared for potential mechanical issues and consider your own capability and resources for dealing with repairs. Those seeking a bike for longer, high-speed rides might want to explore other options.

  • So exciting!!
Yay, it is finally here, and an entire week before the expected timeframe. Was not expecting it so soon! I think I have a good enough idea what to expect from the performance of this bike based on what I have no qualms in rating just based on the experience receiving it alone. Bike is VERY well secured and packaged and looks like it arrived in EXCELLENT condition, which was a big worry I had since I have seen other people report that. I leave to take my endorsement test soon. I dont see the paperwork I need to register it yet, but I have heard sometimes that is mailed separately. Cannot wait to get it out and take it for a spin!! I know im not going to be winning any races, but I dont care. This is my first motorcycle and I need something easy on torque and HP so I dont fear for my life (or the bike) the first time I try to take off on it. I purchased this because it seemed like a cheap way to get my feet wet in the world of riding before I buy something that will suit me more when I have some more experience under my belt. I am 6'3 so I have always been concerned with size, but it is not a small bike. I hope if you are considering purchasing this that you are doing your research so you probably know this is the Kawasaki Ninja 250/400 frame and farings. I already have some upgrades purchased and am going to give it an oil change before I ever try to start it. For info on this bike, check out DOHowen on youtube. He has a lot of helpful insight. Yammienoob who is a popular motorcycle youtuber was not very kind in what he had to say about it, but it sounds to me like some of his issues were the specific bike he got and things he probably would have recieved plenty of support for had he needed help. Also he jokes around that people should start out on a Turbo Hayabusa and definitely seems like somewhat of a younger show-out. I didn't buy this bike to bolster my ego, burnout in front of pretty girls, or drive along the street hoping everyone is looking at me lol. If it holds highway speeds (when I am ready for that kind of riding) then I will be happy. I didnt want a motorcycle to open up to 180mph and kill myself. I just want something that goes and to experience the fun of motorcycling. You probably could find a bigger better used bike for a similar price, but since I am new to this I am a little concerned getting a bike not knowing how the engine was broken in or how well it was maintained. Hope to come back and add more once I have been able to drive it. ***UPDATE 3/31/24**** Well dang, buying it in November and not Late March meant I missed out on like a $400 price drop lol. I would think it would be the opposite since now riding season is fully underway. Well for about $400-500 less than I paid for it, I DEFINITELY have to leave it at 5 stars. I put about 60 miles on it today, and I am at about 375 miles total on it. Now that we are out of the cold, That odometer is about to pick up quick. Getting close to its first oil change in its service life outside of the initial one. I am already looking forward to my next bike already, but also this bike is $2200. You'll probably be at about $2700 after tax and delivery. It goes. You can plot two points on the map and get there. I have not personally gone above 60mph on it. It definitely could, I just don't feel confident enough on it to go that fast yet. Also it is extremely light. In the MSF course I learned on Harley Street 500s, and I feel like I could go 70-80mph on the freeway on one of those easily. Do not be too disappointed with performance out of the box. It gets noticeably peppier as the engine starts to break in. It is a BLAST on windy 45-50 mph backroads. I very rarely drive it much faster than 50-55, but it is doing that speed with no problems in 5th gear. I am sure one of these days soon I will just man up and try to get it on the highway and top it out. When I wrote the first half of this review months ago, I mentioned Yammie's video on it. He said "A Hyabusa at 140mph feels safer than this at 70mph" and I think he is onto something. I know it WILL go that fast, it just starts to feel a little sketch after 60 if you ask me. It just feels like it was designed more for city use. Think of it like a city moped wearing a sportbike's clothing. It also has no problems whatsoever accelerating and pacing with traffic, so if you just want a fun, cheap alternative means to get around then it's a great buy. I wanted to add more and I want you guys to have an honest and thorough review. With the price drop if I could add a star I would. If the final purchase cost exceeded $3500, it would start losing them. When I purchased mine they were selling for $2600 and my final cost was about $3100. As long as you are not expecting it to be more than it is, you will LOVE that you own it. Especially if it is your first motorcycle. Just BE CAREFUL. Ride like you are invisible. An old lady in like an 89 oldsmobile turned left in front of me today. If I had not been anticipating that possibility and riding ho-hum along my merry way expecting her to yield, I would have smacked right into her. Never assume someone is going to yield to you. ... show more

  • Best beginning sport bike
This is an amazing starter bike I love it so much I see reviews with damage or scratches I didn't have ANYTHIMG wrong with mine but you MUST change the oil before even starting it first

  • Bad motorcycle from a bad seller.
The motorcycle will not start from the time it arrived. Seller would procrastinate by online diagnose, sending me parts and video for me to do repair. After 2 repairs, motorcycle still would not start. Seller's latest response was that tittle already transferred and too late to return.

  • It's a Chinese Bike
I've put almost 1k miles on the bike and so far it's pretty good for a brand new bike with 0 miles under 3k. It won't win you any races but it's fun to bop around town. With that being said, I did have a few issues. When I test drove it, the Gear Shift Linkage was bad and locked up in sixth. I did manage to get it out of 6th gear but shift was very difficult at best. Most of the time it wouldn't shift down or up at all. XPRO did send a replacement and it's been working really well since. The other issue I have that hasn't been removed yet is it like to staul out. What I mean is you can start it in neutral and let it run and after 2 or 3 minutes it'll just cut off and you have to start it again. It needs a better tune or something, I'm still figuring this one out. If you purchase this bike, put new oil in it first thing and replace the spark plug with a better one. If you live in a real hot or hot and humid area, you may want an Oil Cooler to keep the bike from over heating. ... show more

  • Buy one!! Donā€™t worry about shipping!!
Color: Black
I wouldnā€™t worry about those people hating on the speed or shipping too much. They obviously didnā€™t read what they were buying. Goes just as fast as it says it does. Itā€™s not meant for racing. This bike is great for the price. And if thereā€™s a little scratch somewhere, so what. U get what you pay for and itā€™s very cheap. Scratches can be fixed. And as far as all these torn up boxes people are showing in their reviews they obviously werenā€™t home when it was delivered. You CAN set up a delivery so u are home when it is delivered. Iā€™m showing 3 pics of how mine was delivered and I was home. Make sure your home. If your not happy donā€™t take itā€¦ send it rt back. Mine had a welded and bolted steel frame around it with all kinds of straps and padding. If it gets scratched then itā€™s probably from when u take the crate apart yourself. Meaning, your fault! So donā€™t let these people scare u into not buying. Itā€™s fun, itā€™s real and itā€™s cheap and sharp looking. HAVNā€™T had one problem in over a year that Iā€™ve had it. And for those who keep saying their batteries donā€™t lastā€¦try plugging it into a battery tender/keeper of some sort. I have one on my bike and my Seadoo and have NEVER had an issue with batteries. BE SAFE OUT THERE because thereā€™s some crazy drivers on the roads these days. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for
Color: Black
Got the bike in September of 2023. Had minor shipping damage when arrived. Bike ran great and still does 3,200 miles later. I have had the kickstand snap and bike fall over when trying to park it one day. Broke mirror when fell. I replaced mirror and kickstand. A week ago i was leaving work and when I tried shifting from 3rd gear to 4th gear my clutch cable broke from the lever end and damaged the clutch. Bike starts and runs great but won't go in gear anymore. I have tried continuously to reach out to xpro and powersports but no response. Remember bike is cheap for a reason. ... show more
