    • Perfect for stairs & long hallways
As advertised, as described. I installed 3 units to make my dark & scary stairway safer. one at the top, one on the landing, one near the bottom step. Pros: 1. Brightness is perfect from a safety perspective. Since they light on two surfaces I mounted them sideways so the light spreads to many stairs. 2. Light is soft, does not glare, and is a nice warm color. 3. All units are linked so the entire stairway is well lit as you approach. They also all stay on long enough to give you plenty of time to make it up or down the stairs. 4. Battery life is way better than expected. I'd gotten used to replacing batteries on non-rechargeables about once each month. Last time I charged the WYZE units was when I got tired of waiting for them to die, so I just went ahead and plugged them in. I know I've been getting at least three months of full brightness per charge. 5. I've got USB C chargers all over the house, so think it was a brilliant idea to use this standard. 6. No complaints about the magnets. There's plenty strong when used with the stick-on plates. CONS: 1. Confusion over the linking capability. There's lots of discussion about this in the reviews. If you receive a box marked "2021", the unit will most likely not link to each other. Mine came in a box marked "2022", and each unit was also marked with that year, so linking was a breeze. ... show more

So far so good. Just understand if they have any light falling on them they will not illuminate. The middle light during sundown had a sun beam on it and wouldn't trigger. Now that it's completely dark they work great.

    • Great Little Lights. Perfect for stairs!
My stairs are pretty dark, in fact it's hard to locate the light switch because of it. I wanted something motion detecting. My home is a smart home, but because I have some fancy light fixtures and 3-way switches it's a pain to get a good solution for my stairs. I like that I could align at the bottom of the stairs, the middle and top. The 3 pack was perfect for this. Because they are motion and light activated I've had them for months and only had to charge them once. I love that they have lights on the top and bottom. So it sort of lights up the wall on the stairs from both angles. I love they are removed magnetically. You attach a small thin piece of metallic adhesive to your wall. Then the light simply magnetically connects to that strip. Makes it very easy to charge. ... show more

The lights do what I want them to do with the added bonus that you can sync them, so if one senses motion they will all turn on. It only took a few hours to charge each one. It did not come with a charger though, so you will need a usb c charger, which is why I gave it four stars. Also, the light is a little orange rather than a clean white. ... show more

I was looking for battery powered motion sensing nightlights and stumbled across these! They are fantastic- they have a subtle design during the day and give off very pleasant and functional light at night. I used these for hardwood stairs that are a death trap at night- now I can see and navigate them safely without burning my retinas like some other lights do! These little lights worked great originally in a pantry, but then I took two to a hotel that I knew was dark in the night. They are perfect for that. Then we used them on a cruise - they snap right to to the wall and are super helpful. They weigh very little so not a problem to add them to your luggage. These lights so far have been worth the money. They are motion and light sensitive. They turn on whenever you go near them and the go off. They light up the stairwell enough for us to see without turning on the overhead light, but aren’t too bright. We love them!
