Love my Wyze plugs as they are so easy to connect to Wifi. App makes it easy to turn on or off to control lighting. Seems like they are very durable and will last a long time.

    • Disconnects from app or wifi often - Firmware fix please?

It seems like every other day I have to go in and re-add one of these plugs to the app/network because it says it's not available. It's not difficult to do, but if multiple go out at once, it's difficult to see which one you're reconnecting to unless you're watching the flashing light patterns on each of them while going through the setup. It's just annoying to have to do this on a regular basis. When they do drop off, they still retain their schedule, so your lights will still turn on and off per the set schedule, but you lose the ability to manually turn them on/off with the app or with a connected assistant (google and alexa). Then, once you reconnect to them, if you don't do it the "right way" you lose the schedule for that plug and have to re-program that to get it to turn on/off automatically. They're easy to setup, configure, and manual button works fine if you can reach where these are plugged in. Firmware needed to fix the stability and reconnection on its own. My KASA plugs seem to not have this issue, what's so different in these? ... show more

I got these to replace the WeMo brand we had that is ending their services soon. I have Wyze camera and Headphones so these were easy to add to my existing app. Setup was very simple and I had no issues with 2.4 or 5ghz wifi. Adding in the app and setting up took about 45 second total. So far they have worked great and are quick to respond through our integrated Google home system with voice commands. They are smaller and take up less space than other brands I have used so that is a plus. I got a 4 pack and I would get more in the future if I need more outlets to control. ... show more

I got 8 of these to automate my home while I'm away. They mostly work great but will sometimes randomly go "offline" until they are unplugged and plugged back in. That fix is easy but not something I can do if I'm away for weeks at a time. Quality on these is lacking. They should work all of the time, not randomly fail and need resets. ... show more
