I normally use a pressure side pool cleaner with a booster pump but I decided to switch to a robotic pool cleaner when I kept having issues with my very expensive pool cleaner. This robotic pool cleaner seems to get the job done at less initial cost than the "dumb" pool cleaners I have used in the past that require a hose and booster pump (further adding to cost and maintenance) The wybot is easy to charge and place into and remove from the pool and I really like the extra filtration it provides as we get a LOT of rain in this area and pollen (and other debris) making algae a big issue. Battery life seems ok, I'd like it to last a little longer and I am considering getting a larger unit since I like this one so much. The unit seems very stable underwater even when climbing (I have had some issues with other non-smart non-robot units falling over needing some recovery help in the past) and I am happy to see this perform well. I recommend this unit. Use it, then charge overnight and you'll be ready for cleaning with it as you need.

TLDR: Works great, lightweight, cleans well, easy to use, setup takes some time but once setup gets perfect coverage, charges fast, holds charge, good on heavy and light soil. App take some getting used to, but can just drop it in and have it run. Gamechanger! I usually put it in when the floor starts collecting leaves and fine debris, and it does a good job covering the floor before working its way up the walls and along the waterline. The cordless design is especially convenient because I don’t have to deal with a long cable floating around or getting tangled while it cleans. I also like the dual filtration system because it picks up both larger debris and finer particles that can otherwise stay behind. I use the app to adjust cleaning options and schedule sessions, and the smart navigation seems to give it fairly organized coverage instead of just wandering randomly around the pool. Awesome!

This Wybot C2 is more less a mid range pool vacuum designed for use in medium sized pools. It is a little bit heavier than the C1 and B series vacuums but does provide a bit more power, thus a heavier battery. The biggest difference in the C2, for me was the fact it carries a second filter cartridge intended to capture finer sediments than using just a basket alone. With that said, it needs more power to push water through that filter. The result is a heavier vacuum with more powerful motors and of course, more cost. Overall the vacuum is nicely built, easy to charge, easy to clean and connects well to the Wybot app. When connected to the app, you can program what patterns the vacuum runs, whether you want it to clean walls and such and what pattern it uses to clean. It's run time is good, plenty of time to clean most pools. Operates as it should in the pool. Yes, it does manage to hang up here and there, around corners or steps or add shapes, but seems to eventually work itself out and carry on. I used this in the floor only mode for testing and could see a dramatic difference between the walls and floor upon completion of the cycle. It did very well. It comes with a standard household charger, filter, extra foam floatation, manuals and a recovery hook for pulling out of the pool. Everything needed to use immediately after charging. If the extra filtration is a requirement for you, this vacuum would be a good choice. But is the extra filtration is not paramount, the C1 series is a better buy. As with most Wybot vacuums, this one is easy to operate and is relatively reliable perfectly capable of picking up, and retaining most pool debris.

We have been incredibly happy with this robotic pool cleaner. We are using it for our 15-foot round above-ground pool, and it is absolutely excellent for it. Right now, we are dealing with clearing up a stubborn algae problem, and this vacuum has been a total game-changer. Because the water is cloudy and we haven't been able to see the bottom, my husband has been relying on this heavily. The ultra-fine dual filtration is exceptional—it catches all the tiny, fine debris and particles that our main pool filter simply misses. It is also incredibly user-friendly; the buttons for programming are simple and straightforward, it charges quickly, and a full charge easily lasts long enough to clean our entire pool. My husband also particularly loves the handy retrieval hook, which makes lifting the robot out of the water completely effortless. Overall, this robot has made pool maintenance so much easier during a stressful cleanup. It is powerful, efficient, and well-designed from the smart navigation right down to the physical handle. If you want a reliable vacuum, we recommend this one!

Picked this up for our pool and it has done exactly what I wanted it to do. Drop it in, pick a cleaning mode, and let it go to work while I do literally anything else. It climbs walls well, cleans the waterline better than I expected, and picks up everything from leaves and bugs to the fine dirt that always seems to settle on the bottom right after you've finished cleaning the pool manually. The navigation seems smart enough that it actually covers the pool instead of wandering around aimlessly like some of the older robotic cleaners I've seen. The cordless design is probably my favorite feature. No hoses to drag around, no cords getting tangled, and no fighting with equipment every time the pool needs attention. Battery life has been more than adequate for our cleaning cycles, and the app control makes scheduling and selecting modes easy. The dual filtration system does a nice job catching both larger debris and the finer stuff that can make pool water look dull. Is it cheap? Not at all. But after spending enough weekends playing pool vacuum operator, I'm happy to let the robot earn its keep. It works as advertised, saves a ton of time, and keeps the pool looking far better with much less effort on my part.

I am not really a phone or app person, so I may be missing some of the features on this cleaner since a lot of it seems to work through the app. When I first got it, I charged it overnight and it was fully charged the next day. I had the kids help download and set up the app for me. They were supposed to have it set so I could just put it in the pool, turn it on, let it clean, and take it out when finished. The first time I used it, I could see it moving around and cleaning. Every time I checked on it, it was in a different spot doing its thing. Later on, I noticed it had stopped. I am not sure if it had completed its cleaning cycle or if the battery had run down, but the pool looked clean, so I pulled it out and charged it again. A couple of days later, I used it a second time and got about the same results. It moved around and cleaned for a while, then eventually stopped. I have not needed to use it again yet since then. One issue I have noticed is with the app itself. It looks like there may be additional buttons or settings lower on the screen, but on my phone I cannot scroll or move the screen enough to reach them. That may just be a compatibility issue with my phone. I also read that you may not even need the app and can simply turn the cleaner on and let it run in its default mode, which I plan to try next time. As far as the cleaner itself goes, it seems to work very well. My pool does not get extremely dirty, but it has done a good job cleaning up the dirt and debris that does collect. I also had a lot of sand in the pool when opening it for the season, and this cleaner handled that surprisingly well. It looks well built, is easy to clean out, and overall is pretty simple to use. I imagine it will be even easier once I get the app situation figured out. As for value for the money, I looked at quite a few pool cleaners before I got this one. I saw some slightly cheaper models and a few with more features around the same price range. So this one may be priced a little high, but it does seem to be a good quality cleaner that performs well. So far, I have been pleased with it.

0 STARS if I could. My WYBOT C1 completely died after exactly 26 months. For a product at this price, that is completely unacceptable. I contacted WYBOT customer service, provided a video showing the problem, and waited 3 days for a response. Jayne told me the unit likely has an internal issue, but because the warranty had expired, WYBOT refused to repair or replace it. Their solution? Find a local repair shop or buy another WYBOT with a possible discount. Seriously? Why would I spend more money on another WYBOT when the first one barely lasted two years? A company should stand behind its own products and take responsibility for what it sells. Instead, WYBOT hides behind the warranty expiration date and shifts the problem back to the customer. Rather than standing behind their product, their solution is basically to get me to purchase another unit. If you are planning to buy a WYBOT product, THINK TWICE. If you don’t want to experience what I experienced—spending a significant amount of money on a product that dies after just 26 months, only to be told to repair it yourself or buy another one—then I strongly recommend considering another brand. WYBOT has shown me that they don’t stand behind their products or their customers. A discount on another unit is NOT a solution to a product that failed prematurely. WYBOT has completely lost my trust. I will never buy another WYBOT product, and I cannot recommend this company to anyone.
