Description

WORX WG509 12 Amp TRIVAC 3-in-1 Electric Leaf Blower with All Metal Mulching System The Worx 350 cfm – 12A Electric TRIVAC Blower/Vac is your 3-in-1 complete leaf and debris clearing system. Blow the leaves into a pile, flip the switch and suck them up and mulch them into the collection bag, and dump it for compost or collection. It takes a chore that often lasts all afternoon and makes it go much quicker. It takes 18 bags worth of leaves and chops it down into 1 with its powerful two-stage metal impeller and shredder blades. If a leaf blower is better than a rake, the TRIVAC is better than a regular ol’ leaf blower. You don’t even need to switch out tubes to change between functions. You just flip a switch. And that tube is angled so you can get under patio furniture and the deck without having to squat or get on your hands and knees. And even though this machine blows out air between 80 and 210 mph, it weighs less than 10 lbs and has been engineered to be operated with just one hand. That means almost anyone can use it to clean up the yard or blow out the driveway. The collection bag technically holds 1.2 Bushels of yard waste, but again, with the 18:1 mulcher, that’s going to be 18x more leaves than if you were raking or blowing the traditional way. Stop making yard work such a chore, and grab yourself a TRIVAC 3-in-1 Blowing, Vacuuming & Mulching System. Worx WG163 GT 3.0 20V PowerShare 12" Cordless String Trimmer & Edger (2 Batteries & Charger Included) The 2-in-1 GT quickly converts from a trimmer to an in-line wheeled edger and back again. Save your money and don’t buy a separate trimmer and edger. The Command Feed spool system gives you line when you want it at the press of a button. The rubberized wheels provide traction and support for even, professional looking lines when you’re edging. The head tilts 90° so you can trim on uneven patches of lawn. The adjustable spacer guard keeps protects the tops of flowers and plants. And at only 5.3 lbs. you can get your trimming and edging done without feeling fatigue from it. Two powerful 20V Power Share batteries are included with this purchase, which you can use on any tool on the WORX Power Share platform.

  • The name is accurate, it Worxs
Style: w/ Debris Collection Bag Pattern Name: Blower
I had used vacs in the past and was somewhat underwhelmed. Decided to give this one a try. It's not the perfect all around yard machine, but it has enough plus points that I'm very glad I got it. First, it SUCKS! Very strong suction on this device. It will pick up a carpet/mat if you let it. Suction diminishes as the bag gets full, but that is expected. Its BLOWS! It's not the most powerful blower on the market (my greenworks blower, BLOWS it out of the water) but when you are dealing with a multitasking device, you have to have some give and take. It's definitely powerful enough to get the job done efficiently. This is NOT a unit I would want to do an entire yard of leaves with. It would do it, but the time and effort can be offset by simply mowing/mulching the bulk of the leaves. Having said that, you could blow them into a pile, or to the street depending on your local ordinances, and mulch away. Where this device shines is 1. being able to switch from vac to blow with with a simple switch. I found this quite useful. 2. The design of the vac tube is great. The upwards curve lets you get around and under bushes, decks, anything around the house that would normally have you bending over. 3. Brilliant move using a METAL impeller blade for mulching. It made short work of small twigs. Did have trouble with a walnut hull or two, they just bounce around in the tube. It also has a small angular center cutting implement on the impeller which helps with the twigs. 4. The bag disconnects EASILY from the unit to allow for emptying. No stupid set screw that other units tend to have. 5. When it says it mulches 16/1, I believe that is relatively accurate. 3 full mulch catch bags will fill a standard lawn and leaf bag. No complaints there. All in all, I really like this unit. It's a wiz around the house and especially around bushes. I used it to knock leaves loose from my bushes and vacuumed them up. Also, not terribly heavy. The weight and angles are pretty easy on the back. Glad I bought this one. ... show more

  • Great home unit!
Style: w/ Debris Collection Bag Pattern Name: Blower
Summary first: Great unit for home use, not for a landscaping business. Great suction, chews up small twigs with ease, and really does reduce leaves with a 16 to one ratio. Made short work of a very big pile. Recommend all day long. Details: I bought and used the accessory WORX WA4054.2 LeafPro Universal Leaf Collection System. I included a picture to provide a visual. The Collection System can be attached even to a large can, like the one I have in the picture. It attaches with a drawstring so you can use a smaller trash can also. It also comes with a universal adapter if you are using a vacuum other than the Worx. I put an area approximately 30' by 30' piled a few feet high, into the trash can pictured. MAN was it heavy. These leaves were RAINED ON the night previous but the Worx picked them up and chewed them up. However, it made them heavy because they were wet and also the density is high once the leaves are chewed up. Sticks: This is NOT a wood chipper so don't try to pick up regular sticks. I accidentally picked up a shard from where I had been cutting up some limbs and it locked the unit up. I shut it off real quick, removed the object and it went right back to work. All the smaller twigs get easily chopped up and sent to the can, or bag if you are using the bag. I ended up with a couple of other sticks that should not have been picked up, but the leaves were wet and the sticks were not perceivable. If the leaves are dry, moving them around with the blower will hopefully leave the larger sticks behind. In the picture you can see dings from where I abused this unit a little. Not on purpose of course, but it ended up proving a really tough test for this unit. Overall, this is a good HOME unit for picking up leaves. Be careful to not pick up anything much bigger around than a tooth pick. The metal impeller does a great job with the twigs. DO NOT buy anything with a plastic impeller. Just threw one of those away. The accessory saves a LOT of time by not having to empty the bag. The blower function is not all that strong, but I have an Echo unit that really does the job. The price is pretty good for what you get. When received, I was surprised at how small the box was. It comes disassembled, of course, but it does snap together. They use plastics and other materials that help to reduce the weight and user fatigue. However, the unit is plenty strong and appears as though it should last. As long as I don't abuse it much in the future. Oh, I only gave four stars because of the dings in the impeller. It would be an improvement to make this more capable of eating those accidental sticks that get picked up. Five stars otherwise. Enjoy! ... show more

  • Powerful & maneuvrable
Style: w/ Debris Collection Bag Pattern Name: Blower
As a small woman, I had a hard time handling the Toro Ultra I bought a few years ago--with the the tube and motor, it was about as tall as me. Although the Worx is much smaller, it's almost as powerful and had some nifty features that beat the Toro hands down. The best feature is the ability to switch from vacuum to blower by flipping an easily-accessed lever. I have a large patio with planters all over and stairs with pots; with the Toro, I had to mount the vacuum the tube to dislodge the leaves stuck behind the planters and pots, and then change the tube back to vacuum; with the Worx, all I need to do is flip the lever. Other great features: the bent end of vacuum tube makes it easier to suck up leaves, and the blower tube being under the vacuum tube and a bit shorter means the blown leaves stay closer to the ground instead of creating a vortex of leaves and dust. And the zipper on the bottom of the bag instead of the side is convenient for emptying. Minuses (small): it's not variable speed, and the on/off switch is pretty stiff. Otherwise, perfect for my needs. ... show more
