On drying power, we were blowing leaves off our gutter guards so I’m not sure how to rate. On suction power, we use to blow not sucking something. On weight, the tubes are light enough, but you have to attach to the blower so depending on the weight of your blower, it could be heavy or light. In our case, our blower is on the heavy side, but not sure you can fault the product for that. Just keep in mind your blower will be heavier than the tubes. I don’t have strong arms to hold the blower up over my head so this will be a job for my husband even though I had hoped to do it myself. ... show more

I have a one-story house and a craftsman gas blower - this thing attached easily and reached my gutters easily with 3 of the 4 included pipes. A little hard to figure out the angle to blow the leaves out, but as long as the leaves arent super wet this should blow them right out. The hardest part is holding the blower in one hand while supporting and moving the pole with your other - it made my arms a bit more sore than I expected but I would guess if you had one person hold the blower and the other navigate the pole, this would be a breeze. Overall it only took 25ish minutes to clean all of my gutters and with minimal effort, the main thing is I did not want to get on the steep roof and this helped me avoid that! ... show more

I’m older and my doctor told me to keep off ladders. It’s a common cause of death among people retirement age. This was about the only unit I could find. I’m using it with a WORX 600 pro unit. It has two engineering errors. The first error is that it does not fit on the end of my 600 unit. It is a little too large. The second error is the reducer is made out of cloth. It bends easily and restricts the flow of air, making it somewhat useless at times. I was determined to overcome the engineering errors. Fix number one was to take some gorilla tape and wrap it around several times on my main blower and the end of the attachment. To correct the second error. I went to a plumbing supply company and ordered a metal 4 inch to 3 inch reduction pipe. This pipe fit inside the cloth reducer and allowed airflow to remain constant. likewise, I had to wrap gorilla tape around this part of the unit as well. Also, the extension tubes tend to come off rather easily. On each joint I wrapped gorilla tape around these joints as well. Now I have a functioning unit that will actually clean the leaves out of my gutter. It works quite well and is very fast. ... show more

This is a great idea, but didn't really work great in practice. There were 3 problems that I ran into. First, the sleeve is difficult to keep on the leaf blower. There is a strap to tighten around the leaf blower, but even fully tightened mine blew off 3 times. I finally hooked a bungee cord on it and around the leaf blower which seemed to help a lot. The second problem is that you cannot hold the extension tube at the bottom (as shown in the photos) and expect to control this thing. The air is blowing out the top which pushes the whole thing away from where you want it. You really need to hold it way up on the extension tube or, better yet, have one person hold the leaf blower while someone else directs the extension tube while holding it with both hands. It is really exhausting and frustrating trying to use this thing by yourself. Third, one of the tube pieces cracked when I screwed it onto another tube piece. I had to put some heavy duty tape around it to hold it onto the other piece. The plastic doesn't seem to be particularly fragile/thin so I don't know what happened here. If there was a way to connect this to the existing nozzle of a leaf blower (the directions say take it off), it might work better but that doesn't seem possible with any model that has a tapered and non-round nozzle. It could also use a handle or some way to better control the extension tube while in use. ... show more

I tried using it with the universal attachment on my Black and Decker blower. It worked ok but was akward and flimsy to use. I ended up not using the universal attachment and just sliding the first section of tube down over the end of the outlet tube on my blower which is oval. I had to squeeze the round attachment tube to an oval configuration and force it a little to get it on. I then put a piece of duct tape around the joint as a precaution but probably did not need to as it is a snug fit. It stays on and works great and is more stable now. Two hands are still needed to use it but it is much easier to control. When I want to use the blower without the gutter attachment I just screw off 3 of the four long sections and the curved tip leaving the other section attached to the blower. It actually extends my blowers reach and works fine with that set up. ... show more

I had this in my Shopping Cart, but had not completed the order when I decided to clean my rain-gutters from my 10 foot Aluminum Step Ladder again. You can guess the rest! I was continuing to use my ShopVac for the last eight feet when one foot of the ladder decided to sink into the sand/dirt in my Wife’s Flower Garden. I landed in her Lily Patch (destroyed it!) on my one shoulder with one leg/ankle/foot twisted in the ladder so badly that I had to scream for my wife to help! Fortunately - nothing broken, but all affected parts of me are still not ‘happy with me’! I completed my order for this device and have really enjoyed standing on terra firma to clean my Rain Gutters using this clever device the next time ( even with my complaining shoulder, arm, and wrist!). ... show more
