This enrichment pump drive with primer for lawn mower, 4 stroke 4.4HP gas engine vertical shaft. The engine is equipped with metal camshaft, forged crankshafts and cast iron cylinder liners to ensure superior performance and longer using life. Gasoline class #87 or up is preferred. Shaft 7/8" diameter Shaft long 3.16" Keyway 3/16" Built-in forced air cooling system and ventilated heat sinks keep the engine cool, providing high reliability and durability. The engine starts on the first pull and runs great. Excellent price, so I'm tickled to death. Was it a direct bolt-on for the 125cc Briggs? No, but it didn't claim to be. I had to drill one hole in my mower deck. My blade adaptor fit the output shaft perfectly. Yours may not. If I had any complaints, it would be that the specifications are not detailed enough. watch for oil consumption when starting up the first time
seems ok but seems to smoke alot right away then calms down but this one starts smoking again once its ran a while? Followed recommended break in procedure.

UPDATE TO PRIOR NOT SO GREAT AFTER 6 MONTHS WITH LITTLE USE.- NOT VERY PLEASED !
UPDATE TO MY PRIOR REVIEW FROM 2 STAR TO 5 STAR - The Seller contacted me and his engineer's determined the problem with the motor sent to me. They found the solution and have sent me the proper fix for the concerns. I am pleased with the Seller's Overnight response and solutions. My rating is now a 5 STAR ! THANK YOU SELLER. This Motor looks great. No complaints about packaging, arrival time, instructions, noise is typical, etc. But, the motor runs irregular, fast slow, fast slow, takes 5 to 10 minutes for it to calm down, but still does not run at a steady RPM. I used it once on a mower and it had good power to easily cut. After 30 minutes of use, and upon restart later. When pulling the start cable 3 times, it blew off the air cleaner cover, braking the hinge mounts and clip mounts that keep the plastic filter cover on the carburetor. The bang was loud and was not expected. I never had a motor do this before. UPDATE: I sent email to the Seller requesting replacement air cleaner cover. NO REPLY NOW TWO DAYS WAITING ! UPDATE 4-14-2026: THIS ENGINE IS 6 MONTHS OLD, THE RECOIL STARTER COIL AND PAWS ASSEMBLY BROKE. IT IS STILL UNDER THE 1 YEAR WARRANTEE. WROTE TO THE SELLER AND WAITING FOR A REPLY REGARDING WARRANTEE COVERAGE. INITIALLY THE SELLER TOLD ME TO GO TO A REPAIR SHOP OR REPLACE THE ENGINE WITH A NEW ENGINE, DUE THE HIGH PART COSTS. AND NOT REPAIR IT. WOW ! WAITING TO SEE IF UNDER WARRANTEE ? ... show more

Very happy with this motor
Love this motor. Was cheaper than getting a whole new lawnmower. Has predrilled holes and others available to drill out, depending on what you're putting it on. Very powerful and easy to start. Very happy with it.

Surprisingly great service.
I am very impressed with Aceup’s customer service team. I had what I thought was a problem with the small engine I had ordered. I called the company and a real person answered. An email was sent, along with links to two videos, which helped me better understand what the issue was. Aceup DV274 Replacement Engine
First, the DV174 that was purchased to replace a lawnmower engine work well until the coil failed. Have been waiting ten days for a reply. Secondly, the valve cover is GLUED ON instead of with a gasket, and I cannot remove without bending the cover. Again, no reply from Aceup. Figure the motor is two months old; wonder what else is wrong. Not happy. ... show more

Great lawnmower motor replacement
So far me and my dad used it to cut the front and back yard it works well and was easy to pull start i may buy more i been happy so far with how well it has worked and was easy to mount to the yardmax lawnmower frame we have we just need to make 1 motor bolt mount the other 2 match the motor.
