  • 80V OF PROVEN POWER: With Basecamp, this cordless lawn mower delivers 80V of cutting power that rivals gas mowerswithout the cost, emissions, loud noise, or maintenance of fuel power. Perfect for mowing yards up to 1 acre.
  • MORE POWER, MORE RUNTIME: This walk-behind lawn mower features a brushless motor 2.0 that delivers 40% more power and a 10% longer runtime than first-gen brushless motors. Plus, a 10X longer life than brushed motors.
  • SAME BATTERY, EXPANDABLE POWER: The same PowerShare batteries that run this lawn mower can conveniently be used with 140+ power tools, outdoor power equipment, and lifestyle products from the WORX PowerShare platform.
  • SET YOUR SPEED & MOW PUSH-FREE: Forget having to break a sweat trying to get a push lawn mower uphill! This walk-behind self-propelled mower does the hard work for you. Simply set your preferred speed and guide it over the grass at a comfortable pace.
  • INTELLICUT: Patented sensor technology automatically adjusts cutting speed to match the grass conditions. IntelliCut increases cutting speed when it detects dense grass for smoother mowing, but slows down in less demanding turf to maximize runtime.
  • 3-IN-1 CUTTING MODES: Self-propelled lawn mower easily switches between bagging, mulching, and side-discharge modes by adjusting a single lever. Powerful side-discharge evenly spreads clippings far, so they don't stick inside the steel cutting deck.
  • IDEAL RUNTIME FOR 1-ACRE MOWING: Using (4) PowerShare Pro batteries, this electric lawn mower cordless tool extends runtime to cover up to one acre on a single charge. These 5.0Ah batteries optimize power and defend against heat and impact damage.
  • USER-FRIENDLY: Quickly change cutting heights (1.5" - 4") with the 7-position height lever. LED lights brighten the path in the dark. Save storage space using the one-touch foldable handle. Always know when to recharge with the charge-level indicator.
  • INCLUDES: (1) 80V cordless 21 self-propelled lawn mower, (1) side discharge chute, (1) collection bag, (4) 20V 5.0Ah PowerShare Pro batteries, (1) Basecamp with charge cord.

Description

Cordless convenience without compromise! The WORX 80V self-propelled lawn mower boasts cutting power that rivals gas mowers without the emissions, loud noise or costly maintenance of fuel. This electric lawn mower cordless product is backed by a brushless motor 2.0, which runs 10% longer and delivers 40% more power than standard brushless motors. This walk-behind self-propelled lawn mower runs on PowerShare Pro batteries, compatible with 140+ WORX cordless tools, outdoor power and lifestyle products on the PowerShare platform. Simplify battery management with Basecamp: An innovative compartment that holds all (4) batteries and connects to the lawn mower. Use it as 4-port charger to easily recharge all (4) batteries. For added flexibility, you can interchange it with any other 80V equipment from WORX. Mow uphill without breaking a sweat. This cordless lawn mower is self-propelled, which makes it easy to move without having to push. Use the variable speed to set your desired pace and cruise up to 3.2 MPH. Thanks to Intellicut™ technology, this lawn mower works smarter, saving battery power for when you need it the most. It automatically picks up cutting speed to plow through thick grass, and slows down in less-dense areas to boost runtime. The ultimate in versatility, this 3-in-1 battery powered lawn mower handles everything from bagging to mulching to side discharging. Use the single lever to switch modes in seconds to cut the way you want. Easily change cutting heights with single-lever height adjustment. It offers 7 height positions between 1.5" and 4". The foldable handle allows for stand-up storage to save space in your garage or shed. With the battery indicator light, you’ll always know if you've got enough power on hand to finish the job. Early morning or evening mowing is fair game. Engineered for long-lasting performance, this cordless lawn mower withstands heavy-duty mowing tasks without damage.

  • It's Electric
Color: Black and Orange
Bought this as my first electric mower. The main appeal was I wanted one that I could use the batteries in my power tools as well. Since I hadn't started my tool collection yet it made the choices easier as I wasn't locked into one brand yet. This replaced an old gas-powered Honda self-propelled mower that had its engine seized from lack of oil. (Not my finest moment) Compared to the Honda it does a decent job. There are definitely moments where the Honda would have been able to chew through some tall wet grass that this one doesn't do as well at, but if you don't let your grass go crazy this can handle it with no problem. The suction could also be a little better as there are times I notice I missed a blade or two when I let the grass get too long that I don't remember being an issue with the Honda. Overall it works well enough and most of my gripes are just me being lazy and not mowing often enough. Being able to use these batteries in other power tools has been awesome. While the 5AH battery looks massive on my drill I pretty much never have to worry about them running out of power and since my mower came with 4 batteries I can save some money and buy the tool-only versions. Very happy with my purchase and no major complaints so far. The added bag and side mulcher are nice options included in the package and I've used them a couple of times when my grass has gotten too long. Oh, and I should mention this mower has an LED light on the front. I don't use it often, but it has come in handy when you're racing the sun to finish mowing. ... show more

  • Poor or no quality control.
Color: Black and Orange
We have many Worx products, one being the robot mower so being aged now we bought this cordless mower walk behind to trim. I cannot give it over a one star because we could not even start it to try it. You see Worx must have very poor quality control or none as you can see by the photos it was not properly assembled. The bail handle was not centered when assembled and does not fit in the grove on the main handle therefore no contact and will not even start. We feel sure it would be a good mower but for that. We had to break the box apart to get it out and was frustrating, irritating, and just plain hard word to get it back in for shipment back. It is totally uncalled for to send out an expensive product that is not assembled correctly. ... show more

  • Surprisingly powerful for a battery powered lawn mower
Color: Black and Orange
Before I get fully into this, I get a little long winded with this review, so if you want to save yourself some time, I'm trying to condense my thoughts and recommendation at the end, so just skip towards that end if you want to save yourself some time and reading. Before this model, I was using a Worx mower that use the now discontinued 56v batteries. It was pretty effective, taking two 56v batteries at a time , but it would take me at least 4 batteries to mow my whole lawn, and that was when I was able to mow the lawn at least once a week or so. If I was unable to do it in time, usually because it was raining on my days off or I'd had to go to work on a day off, sometimes it would take me upwards of a month to be able to properly get things mowed. At that point, it would take me at least 6 batteries worth, if not 8. I'm sure now that I didn't make things easier on myself by not using the bag to catch the grass, and after a while I wasn't as adamant on cleaning and maintaining it, but still. Last year, I came across this model on sale. I was in the market for a lawn tractor, or at least a self-propelled gas model, because I was tired of having to devote half my day to just upkeeping my yard. Looking at this, I wasn't sure if it would be much better, using four 20v batteries, which adds up to 32 less volts overall. On top of that, it has the option for self-propulsion, and headlights, both of which I was SURE would kill the batteries before I would be close to finished. However, since it was on sale, and I was actually told by a family member they'd split the bill as a birthday gift, I figured, what's the worst that would happen? The day comes that it's delivered. First, I was pretty shocked, it was heavier than I had expected, because the old model was fairly light. This was made with a heavier body, heavier wheels, and the batteries and basecamp dock that powers everything was fairly sturdy. Assembly, as far as I can remember, was a non-issue. If I remember right it comes fully functional out of the box, and all you have to do is remove the packaging, the protection, attach the dock and insert the batteries, then off you go. The self-propulsion is surprisingly strong, full speed requiring me to almost jog behind the mower to keep pace. The mower self-regulates the speed of the blade, so you aren't going full throttle on light grass, and not choking out the motor by trying to whack down thick grass with too slow of a speed. The headlights are headlights; I really don't know what else to say about them. They work good, if you're in a shady spot around sunset, but I don't have much use for them. The REAL surprise came from my first outing with the mower, and that surprise kept happening every time afterwards. I start cutting the grass the same way I had every single time before, took the same path, kept about the same pace; One patch mowed, another after that, then the bulk of everything in the main section of my yard. As things went on, I'd noticed the mower wasn't running out of steam, and I was finishing up well before I would with the old model. By the time I was done, I checked the batteries and found that every battery had only used a single light worth of power, probably 20%. The next time I cut the grass, I tried using the bag, and the results were just as good. Now, for more background, most of the grass on my land is on a slope, where it's flat is bumpy, I live more in the woods on the outskirts of town, and I just let it be its natural state, I don't fertilize, I don't spread weed killers, I don't do anything to my yard outside of watering it when it's really dry out and cutting it when it needs it. Because of how strong this mower is, I can actually go a longer time between cuts without concern, which seems to actually be giving me a healthier yard without lifting a finger. If you have a larger yard, this probably won't be the mower for you, unless you have spare batteries or don't mind taking time to recharge batteries between passes. If you have a smaller, flatter yard, this is honestly TOO MUCH mower for you. You'd be doing yourself a favor by springing for a cheaper model that doesn't use four batteries, or perhaps just going with a mower that uses an extension cord. If you're like me and have a more maintenance-heavy yard, where you might need a small lawn tractor but don't need something super wide, this will do you pretty well. The only advice I have to give is if you use the self-propulsion, turn that off before you have to back up at all, and do it earlier than you'd think, because when you do go to back up, you'll hear a clunking or grinding sound otherwise. Other than that, this is a great alternative to gas engine mowers, if you don't want to bother with constantly refilling gas and oil, checking spark plugs and filters, and just want to go out and cut your grass at a moments notice. ... show more

  • Easy to start, perfect for the elderly.
Color: Black and Orange
I purchased this battery powered WORX 80V lawnmower because I am a small, elderly woman. I was tired of the upkeep of my gas powered mower. gas, oil, spark plugs, air filter….Plus, it was hard to get it to start. I mowed my front yard last night to try it out. It takes some coordination to get used to it. There are two levers you need to hold down; One for the blades and the other one for the self propelled mode. You have to release the self propelled lever when you turn or back up. But if you release both levers, the mower will stop. I LOVE the self propelled mode. I just guide it. I wish that I had bought this last year before I paid all Summer to have someone mow for me. Most lawn care companies charge 50.00 for each mow. That adds up to $1,000. a season. This mower will save me $ in the long run, and also gives me some great exercise. ... show more
