This is a great lawn mower. I loved how it was put together just had to take it out of the box. The fold over locking handles helped me a lot when I was unboxing all I had to do was tip the box up on end and roll it out. The batteries took awhile to be charged as they were down to one bar. I'm 70 never used an electric mower before so the first trial mowing was a bit of a learning curve. I kept forgetting to let go of the self propel bars when I wanted to make a turn. By the second time I mowed the lawn I had it figured out, it was much easier. It's so much lighter weight than my old gas machine it was easier to push and didn't take me as long. I didn't try the back side shoot or the bag as I only ever mulch. It mulches really nice not leaving any grass clumps. It's much quieter than the old gas mower so I didn't have to feel bad mowing early morning trying to avoid the summer heat. 21 inch is an nice size and comparable to gas mowers. It has a strong briggs and stratton engine. The hard plastic casing is nice so no worries about rusting. I like the adjustable self propel lever to adjust to my own walking speed. I noticed as I got use to using the mower It was easy to adjust speed as I went not having to stop too adjust. I had my doubts about using an electric mower on my first try but by the second try I was happy I did. I had bought a second set of batteries as I have a large yard. A double lot. The house sits on a quarter acre and it only took 1/2 battery power to do the front and back. The other lot is a full 1/2 acre and used the full amount of batteries ... show more

    • The best mower i ever bought

I am simply blown away with how well this electric mower works! The dual 5 Ah 20 volt batteries have more than enough power to allow me to cut my yard. I find it interesting that the batteries take two to three charge cycles before they deliver full rated capacity. When I got the mower, I charged the batteries before first use but I could only cut half of my yard (the big backuard). The second time I charged the batteries, I was able to cut both the back yard and the front with 20% battery capacity remaining. I was very happy to see this. The third time I charged the two batteries, I was able to do the full yard with 80% capacity remaining! Yes, eighty percent remaining. Needless to say, I am ecstatic! I have heard in the past that these battery packs only get to full capacity after two to three charges and I can attest to this very fact. So if you buy this mower, expect similar results with the batteries. Please give it two to four charge cycles to allow these wonderful batteries to get to their optimal heath. As for the cut quality, it's as good if not better than my old gasoline powered mower. The electric motor runs very quiet with the only the sound of the whirling blade slapping the grass as it cuts. Being electric, it's very economical to operate costing pennies worth of electricity per cut. I love not hearing the noise and smells of a gasoline powered mower. It was easy to assemble and comes with different attachments for mulching, side chute, or bagging. I use the mulch option for a neat and tidy lawn. Also included are two 5 Ah batteries and a dual battery charger. Works great, sounds great, and best of no fuel, no oil changes, and no smells. I love this mower as I am sure you will too. As a side benefit, these two 5 Ah batteries can be used with any Worx product such as their snowblower, hedge trimmer, tree trimmer, or chain saw. I have them all. ... show more

    • Performs better than expected!

Update Sept 13 - I wanted to correct the battery life for the two 5a/hr Worx batteries that come with it - 50 mins each time using self propel all the time. Excellent!!! I have numerous Worx products and have only returned two items over the years. I keep asking myself why did I wait so long to buy this lawnmower? Quiet, lightweight, seems to be durably made, huge capacity grass bag, easy to use, easy to handle, and better than expected battery life. The two 5a/hr batteries that come with it last about 40-45 minutes. I have two sets of 6 a/hr off-brand batteries give a little bit longer time. The 2 a/hr batteries from my other Worx tools last about 20 minutes in it. So that’s a great alternative and backup. It cuts very well and so far I am pleased with it. Caught it on a short-time sale which made it even better! Based on what I’ve experienced with this mower and compared to what neighbors tell me about other brands, this is by far the best one. ... show more

    • SOMEONE NEEDS TO TELL WORX THIS!

After 12 years with my Versa Honda mower with Cruise Control, this WORX mower had a hard act to follow, but because l like everything they make, l had to mention this... I did have to move up to the 8amp batteries because of my half acre lot which worked out perfectly. I used the self propelled mode the entire time and the grass was tall and wet, no problem. The light weight of this mower is a big plus when it comes to backing out of obstacles. All in all l can tell WORX is doing its best to rival gas powered and in all the duties to be performed by a mower it is very close to succeeding EXCEPT for one annoying problem, the Self Propelled speed control. You have to chose your mowing speed from a lever on your left which is probably why the cutting blades have a left and right controls. I wonder why this mower could not have a progressive control (as l have enjoyed on my Honda and greatly miss !) which would decel or accel as needed without having to reach for that lever on the left side of the handle bar. In the middle of a mowing job it is NOT very simple to reach for that switch to change the mower's speed, down right a problem unless of course you have a yard where your speed can remain the same throughout. Just like a gas powered, nothing and l do mean nothing seems to bother the cutter blades. It will plow through anything with ease I even got used to the mower taking a second to disengage the drive wheels in order to back up. The one and only reason a withdrew a star is because that speed control is a bother to me in its lack of flexibility. Other than that this mower is a jewel. ... show more

    • Even now I will cut the lawn!

We had lost our landscaping company, and a couple of weeks went by with out the lawn being cut. When our new lawn mower had arrived, it was so easy to put together, we made sure that the batteries were fully charged. My husband went out and mowed the lawn, even through the tall grass and over grown weeds, he had absolutely no problems cutting the lawn. He has mowed the lawn several time now. One time he did to have them fully charged, and he had to stop when he was almost done, because he did not charge them after the last time he cut the lawn. He makes sure that they are charged fully, and he now cuts the lawn in opposite directions. So the battery life is quite long,,and it folds easily so it is nice to store in the garage. I was so surprised how light it is, and easy to fold for storage! I even cut the lawn, and it works better than all of the lawn boy and John deer mowers I had in the past, and to change the hight of the blades, is only one adjustment! My yard is not huge by any means. 70 feet by 60—it is a thick lawn. I cut it once a week, and it is a challenge for any mower. This WORX goes right through it. In some reviews, it seems some did not get very much out of the batteries. Id did not find this to be the case. I started with a full charge and was able to mow the yard with 3 bars still on the battery monitor. I left the mower without recharging the batteries for a week, for the next mowing, and was able to mow again -- two weeks, two mowings before putting the batteries on the charger. Also, I did not include the small front yard lawn that I mowed at the same time -- a 15 by 20 area but much lighter grass, not so thick. I am truly impressed with this mower. Using the bag, it mows clean. Oh, and did I mention, I used the "self power" mode? This mower is powerful and well designed. Simple assembly. This is no toy, as some battery-operated, tiny mowers seem. This mower is a full size 21", equal to or better than a gas mower. The weight? It is heavier than I expected, but with the self-propelled ability, that is not a problem and maybe a plus as it stays down without bouncing around. It is a work of art, really. ... show more

    • Difficult to replace blade

Up until recently I would have given this Worx Nitro WG760 mower a 5 star review. Even with the somewhat short range that you get with the batteries I have been pretty pleased with the performance overall and just got some extra batteries so I can get my yard tacked in one shot. Unfortunately though, I recently realized that it’s time to replace the blade and discovered that not only can you only replace it through Worx customer support, but I was informed that it was out of stock and would not be restocked for 4-6 weeks. I find that to be unacceptable when I need to have a usable mower. It does me no good to have a product that I am unable to use. I am now concerned about this type of issue popping up with their other products as I have subsequently purchased several other Worx products since my mower purchase. ... show more
