This is a great lawn mower. I loved how it was put together just had to take it out of the box. The fold over locking handles helped me a lot when I was unboxing all I had to do was tip the box up on end and roll it out. The batteries took awhile to be charged as they were down to one bar. I'm 70 never used an electric mower before so the first trial mowing was a bit of a learning curve. I kept forgetting to let go of the self propel bars when I wanted to make a turn. By the second time I mowed the lawn I had it figured out, it was much easier. It's so much lighter weight than my old gas machine it was easier to push and didn't take me as long. I didn't try the back side shoot or the bag as I only ever mulch. It mulches really nice not leaving any grass clumps. It's much quieter than the old gas mower so I didn't have to feel bad mowing early morning trying to avoid the summer heat. 21 inch is an nice size and comparable to gas mowers. It has a strong briggs and stratton engine. The hard plastic casing is nice so no worries about rusting. I like the adjustable self propel lever to adjust to my own walking speed. I noticed as I got use to using the mower It was easy to adjust speed as I went not having to stop too adjust. I had my doubts about using an electric mower on my first try but by the second try I was happy I did. I had bought a second set of batteries as I have a large yard. A double lot. The house sits on a quarter acre and it only took 1/2 battery power to do the front and back. The other lot is a full 1/2 acre and used the full amount of batteries ... show more

Just loved my very first Wrox electric lawnmower. Batteries are good and it appears the batteries’ runtime is lasting longer after the initial few charges. Very satisfied with the lawnmower performance. The size of my lawn is about 1/3 of an acre in total. I did buy an additional pack of 2 batteries to supplement the original ones so I can finish the job without any downtime. Great mower - charge one hour and go - but make sure u don’t over charge it - my back yard isn’t very big and the charge lasted a bit over the time it takes me to mow it - I’m old and it feels so light. I am simply blown away with how well this electric mower works! The dual 5 Ah 20 volt batteries have more than enough power to allow me to cut my yard. I find it interesting that the batteries take two to three charge cycles before they deliver full rated capacity. When I got the mower, I charged the batteries before first use but I could only cut half of my yard (the big backuard). The second time I charged the batteries, I was able to cut both the back yard and the front with 20% battery capacity remaining. I was very happy to see this. The third time I charged the two batteries, I was able to do the full yard with 80% capacity remaining! Yes, eighty percent remaining. Needless to say, I am ecstatic! I have heard in the past that these battery packs only get to full capacity after two to three charges and I can attest to this very fact. So if you buy this mower, expect similar results with the batteries. Please give it two to four charge cycles to allow these wonderful batteries to get to their optimal heath. As for the cut quality, it's as good if not better than my old gasoline powered mower. The electric motor runs very quiet with the only the sound of the whirling blade slapping the grass as it cuts. Being electric, it's very economical to operate costing pennies worth of electricity per cut. I love not hearing the noise and smells of a gasoline powered mower. It was easy to assemble and comes with different attachments for mulching, side chute, or bagging. I use the mulch option for a neat and tidy lawn. Also included are two 5 Ah batteries and a dual battery charger. Works great, sounds great, and best of no fuel, no oil changes, and no smells. I love this mower as I am sure you will too. As a side benefit, these two 5 Ah batteries can be used with any Worx product such as their snowblower, hedge trimmer, tree trimmer, or chain saw. I have them all. ... show more

Always bought the best lawn mowers. From SCAG to John Deere. Wasn’t sure about this little, electric, puny mower. But have to say, definitely pretty cool. It’s fairly quiet. Easy to use. And cuts REALLY well. The batteries last longer than I expected too. Very pleased.

Bought this mower because my old gas power mower broke, and it was not worth the repair. After using this Worx mower a couple of time, I am happy with my purchase. It is nearly as powerful as the old gas mower, without the weight and noise. My yard looks great after mowing. This mower is easy to push. The self-propel feature is easy to engage and it turns rear wheels thus making little effort in pushing. The collection bag is about the same size when comparing to the old gas mower, and it is easy to dump the grass clipping in a yard bag. Did I mention this mower is quiet. My wife did not hear me mower the front yard yesterday, but I should mention the TV was on. The two batteries give me enough power to mow the front and back yards. The batteries are at 1 bar when finished mowing. The mower is easy to fold and store. The height adjustment does not need to change when storing upright. The front body of the mower has a handle that makes it easy to move and store. The only downsides to this mower are it will miss a couple blade of grass, and mower still goes shortly after releasing the self-propel button. I noticed a couple of blades of grass standing out after walking the lawn. Note sometimes my old gas mower missed a blade of grass in some spots, so this is not really a big deal. The self-propel features takes a fraction of a second to disengage, so I learn to release the handle a couple of feet before the turn. I miss my old gas mower, but it is time to say goodbye. Despite the couple of negatives, overall, I am happy with my new mower. Key features I like are yard looks clean after mowing and it is easy to store upright. ... show more

I purchased a home on a 1/2 acre last fall, so as spring rolled around, I needed a lawn mower. I have other Worx products and absolutely love them, so I took a chance on this mower. I will summarize the pros and cons that I encountered: Pros: - Very simple to assemble (basically comes assembled) - Easy to use - need very little instruction to start using - Easy to maneuver around beds and in the lawn - Cuts very nice and clean - Self Propel is super fast Con: - Battery use is very deceiving. With the first use, I got half of my yard mowed. I purchased 2 other batteries for my next mow, based on thinking I can get the lawn completed with the 2 sets of batteries. During the second mow, I completed just about the entire lawn with the 2 sets of batteries. I realized that using the Self Propel function really drains the batteries. I have a slight incline in my back yard, which forces me to use the Self Propel feature, which I used sparingly. Realizing that this was just going to get worse as the season went on, I had to make the decision to send it back. However, If you have a smaller yard, I would highly recommend this mower. With the ease of use (no engine issues, no gas needed, no belts needing replacing, no changing oil) of this mower, it is a great deal for the money. ... show more
