    • A Good Electric Shovel - A Little Heavy
I have had this for a while and finally used it today. The electric shovel part of this works great. It does a nice job of throwing the snow far enough to clear sidewalks and even larger areas in lower snow amounts. I cleared a double drive today with a 3" snow fall. It's a little heavier than I thought but still very usable. Consider the weight if you have used other power shovels that run off other power sources. I initially had problems with the batteries as they didn't seem to take a charge. I cleaned the contacts but still had the problem. Finally I pushed the button on each battery to see how charged they were both showed a full despite what the lights on the charger said. After pushing this button both batteries suddenly allowed the green light on the charger to also show a full charge. If you have a similar problem try this button. Maybe it corrects some internal problem. Following that the batteries work great and still had most of their charge after all I did with this tool today. I have other Worx tools.     • Perfect for lighter snow and small to medium areas
I love this thing. It worked great and surprised me with its ease of use. However, I have a larger driveway and I could not cover that amount of space so I sent it back for something larger. No fault of this unit. Almost all of my battery powered yard tools are Worx. I love their stuff.

This is better than I expected to clean the snow off my deck easily. It throws the snow easily . I almost wish it would snow more this year so I could use it more.

    • For smaller jobs, worth the money.
Works well. For us it does the job we were looking to be used for. If you get a great deal of snow you really do need a bigger machine but to make a path and clean up, we are very happy with this machine.

this works as advertised and as long as you are prompt with your snow removal. if you're shoveling fresh snow, no taller than i'd say, 8-10", you're good. if you are trying to shovel packed/hardened or slushy snow, you're not good. it is also uncomfortably heavy for my size and frame, but i still love it for paths and walkways regardless. i'm a 5'8" slim gal with noodle arms so that should be taken into consideration. lastly, if you're hoping this will avoid a shovel heart attack, i wouldn't bet on it. ... show more

Finally had a chance to use this today. It’s great for 3”, max 5” of snow. I was able to go around tight spaces that I couldn’t do with regular snow blower. I didn’t even use my regular Worx snowblower today. The pair of 20v 4.0Ah batteries lasted a long time. I didn’t have to swap with another pair. Nice! ... show more
