Purchased online through Amazon mainly for the free shipping. The seller processed the order and shipped the blower in a couple of days. The FedEx delivery was great and the driver brought the blower into my shop on a pallet jack. Upacking and assembly went smoothly. The instructions were adequate, however, they are in pictorial format (no written instructions). The pictures could have been a little larger. My first use was in about 10 inches of snow.     • The best snow I’ve ever used.
The snow blower was a little challenging to assemble. We’ve had a record amount of snow this season and the Ariel’s platinum worked excellent, best snow blower I’ve ever used and the hand warmers are sweet. It was worth every penny!

4.9 Rating… chute deflector is my only issue keeping it from a full 5+ I was skeptical to splurge on this machine, but we have been getting dumped on and I have zero regrets. Goes through 8” or less at a fast walking speed and moves massive amounts of snow fast. Other positives: Starts easier than last Honda (for now… time will tell). Manual says to slowly pull the cord out one time before really pulling to start. Most times it starts when I’m just gently pulling the cord out and not even trying to start! I thought hand-warmers were a joke before, but I love them… super warm! The negatives: The deflector chute on my new machine will not stay in a downward position, the vibrations rattle it loose and the spring will pop it up. NOT fun getting an unexpected shot of snow from the wind when it shoots up. (I tried tightening it without luck) If I can get the chute to stay deflected fully down when needed, this would be a 5+ rating! I can’t comment on longevity…I’m hoping it stays trouble free! ... show more
