After reading the negative reviews I was skeptical about making this purchase, but being the owner of a many other Worx power tools I decided to go with the history of reliability I've had with those. I received the WR310 in two days and proceeded to unbox, locate the charging dock and activate the unit all in about an hour. I had no problems with connecting to the 2.4ghz network and the only glitch I encountered was pilot error when I failed to read the line in the installation quick start sheet instructing to enter the default pin number. I'll also note that of that hour setup time the majority was spent with the app automatically updating the units firmware. I then proceeded teach the 310 by walking the perimeter of the yard with the unit and it was on-line and mowing. As far as actual operation the WR310's zones were easy to program and it does what it's advertised to do. Although the much narrower "stripes" in the lawn aren't as attractive as those made by my John Deere X320 rider the quality of the cut is equivalent. Although the 310 is far from winning a speed race, four hours versus the JD X320's 25 minutes, I'm not spending time being bounced around or running to the gas station so who cares! I did do a "hot swap" with another Worx battery when the unit returned to the dock to charge so there was no recharging time involved in the four hour mow. Moral of my story? Read and follow the instructions and setup is a non-event.

I normally do not write reviews, but I feel that it is unfair for me not to. I am coming from a riding lawnmower and I previously ordered a yardcare robotic lawnmower before this one. The yardcare, robotic lawnmower was honestly a nightmare, and I had so many issues with it, that it made me regret getting rid of my riding lawnmower. After doing some more research, I stumbled upon the worx. It is truly a night and day difference and I am actually so happy I made the switch to a robotic lawnmower. I have not had to rescue this robot once and it does a phenomenal job cutting. I plan on doing a couple upgrades with the cutting disc, adding more blades and maybe adding a spike wheel to give it more traction. My house is on a hill so the slopes are quite steep. This robot offers a lot more customization, and I love that you can choose which angles to cut the lawn, which the previous robot did not offer. I can truly say this has replaced the time and effort I put into a riding lawnmower in the lines look very Crisp.

I really wanted to love the Worx Landroid Vision WR310. I specifically chose it over competitors like the Segway Navimow because of its built-in offset edger tool, which promised a true "cut-to-edge" finish. Unfortunately, while the physical mower seems capable and well-built, the software ecosystem is an absolute joke and makes the machine completely unusable. Here are the major issues I hit trying to get this running in my yard: Unstable, Frustrating App Interface: Setting up a simple single-zone cut shouldn't require a master's degree (which I have.) The app hides critical manual cutting options under a generic "One Time Cutting" card rather than a clear zone-selection dashboard. To make matters worse, the app interface is missing features advertised for other Vision models (like electronic height adjustment), leaving you to guess that your US model relies entirely on a manual 1–6 mechanical dial with zero digital readout to confirm your changes. Continuous Server Lockouts (Error 429): The mapping process is a nightmare. If you have a challenging property line—like a drop-off street curb—the mower will suffer from wheel slippage, causing it to drift off the ledge. When you pause the auto-mapping to manually steer it around these trouble spots, the app bombards the Worx cloud servers with data. The server instantly flags this as "working too fast" and triggers a temporary account lockout. Total lock out using the app to mow the lawn. Not sure if schedules still work during these times. The "Can't Save Map" Loop of Death: After spending an entire afternoon meticulously steering the mower to sculpt a safe perimeter, the app threw a continuous "Can't save map, retry" error loop at the finish line. Because my phone was on cellular data and the mower was on home Wi-Fi, the glitchy Worx cloud servers completely dropped the data handoff. I lost 100% of my manual mapping progress. The software is an exercise in pure frustration. It shouldn't take a laundry list of tech workarounds, local Wi-Fi router hacks, or standing in front of the camera with your foot just to trick the machine into saving a map. I have wasted hours of my weekend fighting a broken app ecosystem when I could have just mowed my lawn the old-fashioned way. If you have a perfectly flat, square yard with zero obstacles, this might work for you. If you have curbs, tight spaces, or expect stable cloud software, look elsewhere. Mine is going right back into the box and getting returned.

Works great, however: Have to split into 4+ zones that can be cut in one go on separate days. Low light lock very sensitive trying to force a purchase of attachment. Any error stops process and returns to base to start charging (may be fixed with updates). Software locked to .25 acres. Cut to zero module not included.

I really really wanted this to work. It would solve a lot of my mowing issues. But, due to rain and Worx tech spt weekday only hours, it took me a week to get it up and running. Then I had bluetooth issues; then I had time zone issues; then I had proximity issues (according to AI Gemini which provided more help than the Worx Tech Support (if you can get someone to help, it's more of a collaborative effort as they don't seem to know this new system very well. Then 12 days after my order, the WORX Cut-to-Zero Edge Cutting, Edge Trimming Attachment arrived. In trying to install this for over an hour (cartoon instructions indicate remove 6 screws. I discovered you have to remove 8. While talking to Worx tech support, the white drive spindle fell out of the WR310 mower. The tech support guy did not know how to put it back. Neither did I. AI Gemini helped, but after another half hour of wrestling with it, my patience ran out. I am sending back the WR310 in pieces since I can't reassemble it. Almost no instructions other than small cartoon illustrations. However, after a one-day experience with a competitor, the ECOVACS GOAT 1000 LIDAR Pro, I have a better appreciation for the Worx. I found the Worx to be smarter, more agile, less prone to wander, greater battery life in it's removable battery than the Ecovacs Goat internal battery, better camera for object detection, more flexibility in mapping, more reliable, consistent, graceful in it's turns, and faster. My one-day experience with the Goat was: - It got stuck 6 times (Worx only 2 times and then no more). - Rapidly depletion of internal battery - More difficulty in docking - Lost Wifi once (Worx never did - same yard; same location for docking station). - The Goat tried to mow over a 2" stump and granite rocks the size of cantaloupes. The Worx avoided both of these. - Not as elegant in mowing and turning as the Worx. The Goat seemed to back up more (often into big rocks) and cut a less consistent line. - Mapping seemed less precise as the Goat would bungle around the deck and fence weaving in and out. - Barely finished my 900 Sq Ft yard on one charge. - I fear unreliable. After three consecutive mappings, each tighter than the previous, the Goat seemed to get lost after mowing and started wandering down the bank to the lake, reversing, wandering again. Worx seemed more confident in following its map. Apps - I don't have a lot of experience with either app, but my general impression is both are cumbersome and non-intuitive. The Worx app seemed to be more flexible; Goat app only allows one map. NO GO zones seemed very difficult on the Goat App; I did not need them on the Worx as it's camera and object detection worked much better than the Goat's. On the positive side, - the Goat came with a written manual; Worx has cartoon illustrations which are almost worthless - I got a knowledgeable Ecovacs human technical support on the phone on my first try; getting a Worx support tech was difficult and when you get one, they seemed to be still learning the system. Solving issues was a collaborative exercise with my suggestions as good as theirs. I found Google AI Gemini to be as helpful as a Worx tech. - The Goat has a string trimmer which had about 50% efficacy on the first two runs due to it's bumping in and out of the deck and fence leaving gaps in the edging. The Worx does not have a string edger, and I could not install their accessory edger and had to send it back unused and untested. If Worx would upgrade its documentation and access to tech support, it would be a better system IMHO.

Waited 6 weeks to review. I love this little guy! I thought the setup was pretty easy (I did manual.) Walked him around the yard like a remote control car showing the perimeter and that was it! He's gotten stuck once or twice through no fault of his own, I needed to repair a few high/low spots in the yard. I don't have the "cut to zero" so I have to use trimmer once a week, but it takes 10 minutes per week for me to handle my back yard instead of 45 minutes in triple digit temps. I'm going to add the "cut to zero" WA0927 before next summer. I would 100% purchase again. I've got an 18'x36' pool in the back yard, so we have guests every weekend. Everyone is impressed with how my yard looks. And since he cuts 3 times a week (and does perimeter twice a week) it ALWAYS looks good, not just 2-3 days after it's been cut.

Mower seems sturdy enough. Owners manual very weak in terms of assistance. It only covered mainly specs & warranty. I had to do heavy research on the internet to understand the basics. App very in troubleshooting. This would be ok if operating the robot was glitch free. Starting at the base, the mower would glitch every few minutes. My final thoughts were this mower is meant more for a computer or gadget genius with a lot of patience.

I love this thing once I understood the directions and how to set it up set up is so easy now I learned how to make new maps how to make new paths and how to mark out zones. I don’t want it to go after I learn this. I read the instructions once more and learned that the instructions were telling me the same thing that I learned this one is a great price even though it don’t have the cut to Zero module on it I just purchased one. I can’t wait to get it to install it and then my edges will be perfect. It saves me so much time on cutting. I sent videos to my family bragging about my lawn being cut while I’m leaving. I sit there and have breakfast watching it. Cut the lawn and 90 to 100° weather without me having to do anything, I love the self teach that it has and I also love manual teaching if I wish to use it when I started using it because of my error, I had to hit the stop button pick it up and put it back on the charging station. I suggest that if anyone is learning how to use it, do not turn on automatic password because you’ll have to add the password for every fault once mine is ready to go. I turned on automatic password. I will run this thing a few times a week and I guess in a few years if it was to die, I will buy one similar to this or an upgraded model, but I’m a true believer of the autonomous lawnmower. I’m happy I stepped outside my box.
