I got this as a corded back-up option. I had to try it out, so I used it to color a tattoo (see photo: bottom half colored with Wormhole machine. Top half with my usual machine). It was very smooth running, and felt perfect in the hand. Though at times it seemed weak, the results disagreed. Perhaps it was just because it was so quiet and smooth that it seemed weak, because it puts in color as good as any of my other machines. It worked well for lining too (I didn't outline this whole piece with it, but I had some small parts to add and it laid a few smooth lines just fine). My only concern is how long the internal parts will last. At only $20 I have my doubts, but if it lasts a year it's easily worth it. Time will tell. Pros: The machining and design of the body is top notch. The grip shape is excellent and the adjustment is smooth, but clicks into place nicely. The collar around the rca jack is a nice touch that not enough manufacturers implement imo. The shape of it feels about perfect for a pen machine. Quiet, smooth running motor. Cons: slightly heavier than other machines of the same size range. Motor and internal parts are a bit of a mystery. ... show more

Solid rotary pen, the Cartridges are fine. The rest of the stuff is crap. Keep the power supply in case your main one dies and you need a temp back up. I do admit the foot switch has a very satisfying clicky sound and feeling so I threw out my fidget toys and just play with that now to entertain my crippling autism. I've been using the pen 3-4 times a week for the last 4 months or so and it works as well as any other pen. When it dies I'll throw it out and get a new one. Recently made this wolf tat with it and it got the job done just as well as a $700 pen. ... show more
