The WOPET feeder has a lot of great features, you can do up to 6 meals a day with up to 8 different portion sizes. It has a manual feed option and a receptacle for a moisture absorption pouch. The voice recorder feature seems nice but it seems that once you record it, it will always play it. One unexpected bonus was the included plate liners, a spectacular idea and something I will definitely repurchase. I actually really like this feeder and would have given it five starts if it was easier to clean. The parts come apart easily and the instructions give you a clear indication of how to take them out. The part that is hard to clean is the base. You can’t wash it due to the electronics but there are parts of it that do make contact with the food. Another issue is that the instructions state the portion size is about two teaspoons but it is in fact more so start with less than what you think you should and work your way up if you need to add more. The first night my cats had a giant pile of food because I based the portion size (6) on the two teaspoons the instructions mention.     • Quiet and very easy to set up
This automatic pet feeder is quite simple to use and set up. If you get frustrated or want to start from scratch again, after setting this up, you can always follow the instructions to set the feeder back to its factory settings. I wanted to test what 1 portion looked like and I did the manual feed...the first time the kibble fell, it only allowed maybe 4 pieces of kibble to fall. I thought, "that can't be right" so I did it again, and then the feeder let closer to what I thought 1 portion of kibble would look like. I couldn't find anywhere what the limit to portion sizes were in the instructions, but 1 portion x 6 times a day is more than enough for mine. It comes with 5 food bowl liners that are specially made for this feeder. I couldn't find more liners online. They advertise that the reason they have liners is because then you don't need to wash it. To be honest, I'd rather wash the feeder bowl. It disperses the kibble quietly, which I was happy about since the feeder is set up not too far from where I sleep and I do have it set to go off at some times in the night and morning when I'm sleeping. The feeder has both a power supply and takes batteries, which is great! I don't like to run through batteries but the batteries are fantastic as a backup in case your power goes out. It's a nice looking feeder! I got an electric automatic feeder over 20 years ago and feeders have come a long way. This one is a huge improvement over what I had had. ... show more

This item arrived very quickly, and was packaged great with no damage to it. It did come with instructions on use and programming it. The instructions weren’t all that easy to follow on programming it. But it does have battery back up so if it ever gets unplugged, it will have batteries in it to keep it running. It does work great. It has a removable bowl so you can wash it. The storage area for kibble is quite large. And it’s a great feeder overall. ... show more

EASY to assemble, CLEAR instruction manual and SIMPLE to operate. BEST FEATURE: Quiet operation. Dispenses food quietly. No beeps or "slot machine" sound. CONTENTS: Feeder unit, Type-C cable & adapter, Food bowl, Bowl liners ands Bowl insert clip. NOTE: Due to keeping contents as small as possible for shipments, all the accessories are INSIDE the feeder. You will need to UNLOCK ( twist counter clockwise only a bit ) top half of feeder to remove all the accessories contained within. PORTION SETTINGS: Include: 1-6 meals daily with up to 8 different portion sizes. Has MANUAL feed option. FEEDER ALARM: Feeder has 2 alarms, one for stuck food and other for low battery. VOICE RECORDING: Simple setup. Plays 2 recordings when feeding. Can be changed at desire. There is under the locking lid a receptacle for the DESICCANT pouch. (Best for moisture absorption). EASY TO CLEAN: Unit easily comes apart to wash. DUAL POWER OPTION: Unit can be powered by 3 D batteries (not included) or by the Type C power cable/adapter included. Although not necessary to use both modes at the same time, it is RECOMMENDED to use both modes to prevent feeder from losing power during any power interruptions. Control BUTTONS are not intuitive so reading the instructions once should do the trick to easily master the feeder. CLOCK SETTING: The feeder clock uses a 24-hr military time clock as opposed to AM/PM. The instruction manual provides the conversion table. . I've got a cat that gets very noisy if he's not fed at the exact same time every day. Sometimes that can be difficult with work and life. So I was excited when given the opportunity to try out this automatic cat feeder. I like how you can set it for up to 6 feedings a day with 8 different portion sizes. This came well packaged, has nice features and is sized just about right in terms of capacity for our needs. It is easy to set up as well as program and the cats took to it right away. The included food tray liners are a nice touch and something that we’ll probably look to keep using over time.
