I think this is a great swing to have it has a slightly wider base than normal playground swing and it is wood so it is not bendable. My son is in PT since prewalking and this is a great transition to help him learn how to use a regular playground swing. This is a quaint little swing, but there are a few features on it that created the need to give it less than five stars. First of all, to install the swing, you need to have a crossbar to hang it from. You could hang it from a giant tree limb if you’re fortunate enough to have one handy; however, you risk of the swinger (person swinging) hitting the ground, if the limb comes down, and possibly having the tree limb land on their head. Another thing is the size. I ordered the largest size and assumed that it was as the picture showed; plenty of space on either side of the woman sitting on the swing. This was not the case for me. My sides were pinched up against the edges while the swing was suspended and I am a bit bigger than the woman shown, but not that much bigger! However, the seat is very comfortable. It does have a nice curve in it that allows for comfort. The ropes and carabiners appear to be of good quality. I ordered this for my grandkids to use when they’re visiting and to have this quaint and cozy little swing hanging out in the yard. So if you’re considering purchasing for little kids, or just to have the visual of a cozy, swing to enhance the beauty of your yard, I would certainly recommend buying this. If adults are planning to use it on a regular basis they are regular sized Americans, then I would recommend looking elsewhere for a swing. ... show more
