I just purchased this for a 20 hour road trip (20 hours each way yikes) coming up in a couple months. These are absolutely perfect for our needs and I would recommend them to anyone needing dvd players in the car for small children. Our children (5 and 2) are completely silent anytime we're in the car now. It's blowing our minds. Pros: 1. Comes with headrest straps AND bolt on headrest mount (BONUS - the mounts weren't listed in the description which was one concern I had but it actually did include bolt on mounts with tilt adjustment that seem nice enough) - We used the straps to keep it simply and easy to remove and they work great. I simply suck it on the metal spindles of the headrest and there's no rattles when driving or strap poking us in the head. And it looks pretty good. It has a kick stand as well to stand it up outside of the car. 2. The screens sync - only need 1 very simple cable to do this which is included. 3. Each has their own DVD player to play separate shows. 4. Rechargeable batteries - really like this feature. Most road trips wouldn't even require you to bring chargers for these things if you didn't want. The 5 hour charge time seems accurate. The kids have (on and off) watch two full length movies while in the car and the screens were still running strong before I finally hooked them up with steady power. 4. Comes with both cigarette adapter for charging both in the car or wall adapter. The wall adapter is handy because that is what our car has in the back seat. 5. Picture quality - not going to win any awards but its completely acceptable for the size of screen and format. 6. Loading a DVD is painless - the screen flips break away at the top and flips down for easy access. It hasn't skipped once while driving. 7. Menu is actually very simple and intuitive considering I've seen that most of these screens are not. 8. Has SD card and USB readers - I have not used these and don't have plans currently. 9. Has headphone out - we actually run an 3.5mm headphone cable to our auxiliary port in the car and listen through the speakers. We just push all the audio to the back of the car so we don't have to hear it much. 10. 10.5in screen is a great size. The entire device isn't all that thick. I've seen some that are very unwieldy. You can see in the first picture the screens are up tight against the seats. That is the thickness there's no weird part that sticks out beyond what you can see. 10. The price is great as well. I got these with a $20 coupon and it sweetened the deal, but if I needed new ones I'd buy these again. Cons: There aren't many and I knew these going in, but it's not a perfect product. 1. No HDMI - I knew this going in. It's for the car and last thing I want to mess with is hooking up a streaming device and making sure the hotspot is always running. I do like having options though and if you need HDMI these aren't the ones for you. 2. Audio - the built-in speakers get the job done but barely. Our kids can't handle headphones so we went with auxiliary cable to the car speakers. $6 on amazon cheap and easy fix to get great audio. FM transmitter would have been cool to keep it wireless those never sound that good either. 3. AV Cable length - tiny bit too short. Wish I had a little longer cable so I could run it better and hide it better, but it's long enough to pass. (worth noting the charging adapters seem plenty long). A new cord isn't a big deal to purchase fortunately. I looked at all of dvd monitors at Amazon and went to Best Buy and Walmart. All of them were missing something or had some gotcha. HDMI was the gotcha for me on this one but in the end the simple setup is a blessing when you want to roll out quickly without jacking with picking out a show connecting to the internet.

We added the dvd players to my car and they look as close to built in as we can find. My kids love them. Easy to control with the remote and a lifesaver for car rides.

These are solid little DVD players, and easy to use. They are a replacement for an older similar style 2 screen player system. The older system was really hard to switch between independent play and shared screen. This Wonnie set is really simple. Either of the players can be the main player determined by which sockets you plug the cord into (Each unit has its own input and output). And there is a big input button on the front of the player to switch between AV in and its own DVD. This would be easy for young kids to operate. The plastic headrest mounts are really stable, and work well for my RAV4. But they are not perfect and are the reason I gave this 4 stars vs. 5: 1) The plastic mounting bracket is semi-permanent, as they attach via 4 screws. It would have been nice if it was some type of cam lock or thumb screws, instead of having to use a screw driver. 2) the thumb screw that attaches the players to the plastic tilt brackets are not "captured"... meaning the screws themselves are not held in place when the DVD players are not attached. They could easily get lost when not using the bracket. That said they are still definitely worth the money to keep the kids quiet for a few hours on the road!

After our old set of DVD players for the car broke I searched for a new set and landed on this. They were a little more than we wanted to spend but we figured if they were as good as they sounded it would be worth the extra investment into a quality product. We have been absolutely thrilled! Having the option to have two different movies playing will definitely come in handy when my youngest gets old enough to have an opinion on what he is watching. For me, having a remote to control them is SO helpful! On our old set I used to have to climb in the back seat between two giant car seats to get to the manual controls. We were also able to finally watch the second movie on a DVD when we were never able to get our old set to go to the second option on the DVD menu screen. The picture quality is superb and the sound levels are great (although some movies the volume needs to be way higher than other movies, but I think thats every TV I have ever owned too and may not be the DVD player itself) Overall we have been very pleased and would definitely buy again!

They do not work. I consider myself pretty tech savvy. My husband and I both have undergraduate and graduate degrees. It is not a matter of user error. These things worked for exactly one day. I ordered a replacement. I will update review if the replacement works. Pretty disappointed because it seems like the best product on the market for two screens that can connect. It just simply doesn’t play the DVD and either gets stuck at a spot on the did or just gets stuck on the loading screen. I know the DVDs we’re using are working DVDs as I’ve tried them in other machines.

These are great DVD players. We are very happy with the image quality, sound and memory feature. The remotes are great with easy to understand options fir the kids. We bought these for our two kids who are three years apart and not watching the same DVDs. The controls are easy enough for our four year old to understand and I’m able to use the remote from the front seat to help the younger one. The charge last about five hours running nonstop and flashes a low battery before it cuts off. The kit includes a car charger so it seamlessly keeps playing once plugged in to charge. These DVD players come with everything you need. I am so impressed with all of the accessories it cone with. We’ve used almost all of them at some point. We use the “permanent” mount versus the strap and are very happy with it. I only wish there were separate car chargers like the wall chargers but the car charger is so long it is not really a huge issue, except when the kids are separated. One of the DVD players just stopped working. We had only used it twice since purchasing and it just stopped working completely. Amazon and Wonnie are doing everything they can to make it right. I am beyond impressed with both Amazon and Wonnie’s customer support for this product. Amazon never ceases to amaze me with their amazing support; however, once I got in touch with Wonnie, they have truly been great as well in helping me try to replace the single unit because we still need one and I am so happy with Amazon and this company, I would gladly return to replace the broken one!

Purchased this item as an alternative to installing a very expensive “in head rest” twin screen system like the factory system we had in the 2017 Explorer we just traded. New 2020 Expedition we bought did not have this feature. This product came well packaged and installation was easy. Mounting brackets seem sturdy enough although the attachment points for the screens don’t look like they are overly strong. Time will tell. Screens are clear. Set up was easy. The look after installation is good. Sound quality is the only place I ding this system. Sound level maxes out at “20” and even that isn’t enough to prevent complaints from my kids. Honestly, the kids have toys that beep, play music and sing songs that are waaaay louder than this DVD system so it isn’t an issue of space vs technology. This product simply has weak, ineffective speakers which is a shame because everything else is just fine. For a fix I used a long audio cable in the headphone jack of one screen, added a headphone jack splitter (split with two female ends) and ran that set up to the third row. This lets two kids in the very back use headphones at the same time and actually hear the audio while the kid in 2nd row can listen through the speaker of the other DVD player or use headphones. I never expected the sound output of this DVD system to compare to the audio in a car system with 10 speakers but I did expect better sound for the price paid. If sound was better I’d have rated this product 5 stars. UPDATE: Product has now lasted 23 months and is used almost every time my kiddos are in the vehicle. Have experienced zero issues with video or audio output, playing various DVDs or in mechanical functionality. NO WAY this would ever compare to the “in headrest” dual DVD system we had in our 2017 Explorer however, this system is getting the job done. The screens and mounts do rattle a bit but have stayed tight. So despite some minor annoyances again, this product has lasted almost 2 yrs.

Our new car did not have the built-in DVD/entertain screens that we had in our old car, so I had to research some options. My criteria were screen size, ease of use (since this is more for our kids), mounting options, and of course, price. This package hit all marks. What I really like is that there are two mounting options for the back of the front seat headrests - one is a firm clamp, and this is the more sturdy of the two. The downside is that it's easier to leave the clamped mounting bracket in place even when the screens are not connected, but I got used to that quickly and don't even notice that they are their (it's more a visual thing). There is also a soft strap mounting option which is only necessary when the screens are in use, but it's not as sturdy. But at least you have options. The screens are easy to use, can be used separately or synched together, and have good battery life so that they don't need to be charged while driving unless you're on a really long road trip. Our longest trips are typically about 6 hours and the screens generally last the entire trip. I only need to recharge them for the return trip, and i can do that from either inside or outside the car. Great buy.
