I bought the ZipString as a gift, and overall it's just okay. The packaging was pretty plain—not very exciting or eye-catching, especially for a kid expecting something fun. The product does work, but it’s not quite as impressive as the videos make it seem. It functions as advertised, but the "wow" factor just wasn’t really there in person. It’s a decent toy, but I’d recommend setting expectations a bit lower than what you see in the promotional clips.

The media could not be loaded. This worked great for us! 3 year old granddaughter wanted a "spider costume and I wanna shoot a web." I needed to make this happen without the mess of silly string, so her mommy would be happy, too. This Zip String works wonderfully for that purpose. Granddaughter is using the shortest length right now (it comes with three lengths), and she is happy with that. Occasionally the longer strings get a little tangled, but it just takes a second to undo those tangles. Easy to do. This little video is the shortest string.

Ok so as it functions- it’s a good product. We haven’t had any issues with it breaking or anything like that. No safety issues that we’ve run into. We have learned you need to be careful to store the stand in a somewhat organized way or you’ll end up w a giant knot. So keep an eye on that. Does it get used a ton? No. Not really. At first- yes. Our 11 year old does still play with it here and there.
