I felt a lump above my belly button. Three days later my hernia support belt had arrived. I'm scheduled for surgery, but this will help until then. The velcro allows you to have it as tight as you want. The actual hernia support (looks like a mini pillow) is solid enough to hold the area in. I highly recommend it.

take it or leave it. It wouldn't matter. this one is so easy to put on but it's a smidgen too small in the width. I need not a longer one but a wider one so it covers more of my upper belly.

I love this thing. I have a labor job with a lot of heavy lifting. I got it to help until I can make time for the surgery and it does it's job very well. Comfortable, noone notices that I'm wearing it, and it keeps my guts in!
