Bought this for a weekend-long festival, anticipating bad weather and wanting a more-durable option than the usual flimsy plastic throwaways. I was pleasantly surprised by how well-constructed it is, and the little features that make it practical, including an anchor loop at the end of each sleeve, a zip pocket on one side, and cord locks for hood adjustment. The front zipper closure (instead of snaps) is perfect. Most importantly, it kept me dry through a good bit of rain. The storage pouch is nice, and I don’t have to struggle too much to get the poncho back in there. I got the leopard print, which is more abstract than the photo suggests, but cute. There was a strong chemical smell when I first received the poncho, but that mostly dissipated after a few hours of wearing it outdoors. Time will tell if it holds up through multiple uses, but it seems much sturdier than anything like it that I’ve owned so far. Glad I made this purchase.

Feels like thin raincoat material! Its so much nicer than a plastic poncho! I'm so excited to have a poncho I can be excited to wear in Disney World every time I go. I strongly dislike those awful yellow ones disney sells, and I don't like the idea of disposables as they're likely to rip every time someone wears one. This will be used for years to come! Looks and feels exactly as expected! Love! UPDATE: I have now used this for 2 Disney World trips - it didn't rain much my first trip so this stayed in my backpack the whole time. More recently though, it rained both days of my trip and this kept me very dry. It fits great and kept everything from my head to just below my knees dry (I'm 5'5" tall for reference). When it stopped raining, I was able to unzip the poncho rather than trying to slide it over my head and getting drenched, then I shook it off, rolled it back into its carrying case, and then put it back in my backpack. The inside of my backpack stayed completely dry, and I stayed completely dry. What more could you ask of a poncho? The next day it was completely dry when I pulled it out for the next rain shower. I will be taking this on every trip I go on. And I will be buying more for friends and family!!

I love it! I'm 5'1 and 180 lbs, and it fits me really nicely! The hood might be a little small for some, but usually poncho hoods are too big on me, so I appreciate that this one doesn't droop down onto my eyes. It's airy, so it's not too terribly hot, and between it and my rainboots only my knees got slightly wet in a heavy rain!

Nice rain cape. Has thumb loops to help keep the 'sleeves' in place. Sides do blow around a bit in windy conditions, which may allow rain onto your lower body, but in general, this cape works great. Have used it in several downpours and was able to easily take it off once inside and was much dryer and comfortable than if I had been wearing a traditional rain jacket - and certainly drying than if I had been wearing nothing at all or only had an umbrella. Pouch zipper broke during first usage, but we bought 2 and the other pouch is working fine. It's not difficult to get the poncho back in the pouch, which is an other bonus. Poncho dries fairly quickly. Was a great item to have with me when traveling - much easier to carry than an umbrella, especially on a train, and the carabiner meant I could hang it on my belt or purse when not in use. Overall, I would buy again. I don't look as stylish as the models do in the product photos, but I bought it to stay dry, not to look stylish - and stay dry I do.

It rained so much in Costa Rica and this raincoat totally covered me and all my packages and purse under it. Didn’t need an umbrella as the hood covers my head and no water got in even with blowing rain.

So happy this material was so soft and not plastic like. Fell beautifully but was light weight so bulky jacket fit great underneath. Keeper for sure. Fell below the knee so rain barely got on shoes.

This is an adequate rain poncho that keeps rain out. I like the loose fit and that you can fold it up to fit in a small pouch. The pattern and quality are good, too. When I wore rain boots, water running down the poncho definitely flowed into one of my boots, but that's to be expected at this length. My main criticism is the fit, or I should say non-fit, of the head cover. It's enormous and when I pulled the strings, it basically covered my whole face. I guess you could cut eye-holes in it, but I'd prefer for it to just cover my head. Next time, I'll wear a baseball hat with it to keep it out of my face.

Wore this in Alaska over a winter coat. It’s roomy, strong and came to my knees to keep most of me dry. It zips up front and the sleeves snap close for easy on and off. The carrying case is perfect.
