I love this coat. It was very affordable. Very comfortable and warm. Fits well. I followed the sizing chart and ordered a size bigger than I normally wear and am glad I did. The quality is especially good. Great for rainy or snowy weather as the outer material is repellent.

This coat is not as bulky as other puffy winter coats but just as warm even in freezing weather. I am 5'2" approximately 180lbs & ordered the XXL, it fits well allows for easy movement or layering underneath, I wore heavyweight waffle weave shirt & long johns plus heavyweight sweatshirt & pants underneath. The length of the coat is great, right above the knees which helps keep you warm. 2 draw backs, the breast pocket isn't deep enough for a smart phone & the coats snaps do not hold tight but the zipper is fine. I'm 5'5, 180-85 pounds, 40D chest, most of my weight is in my chest and midsection. I've been trying and failing for months to find a coat to wear on rainy cold days in the PNW. I need something that fits me without making me look huge and feel even huger. I also have sensory issues and am particular about fabric and about things touching my face. The search continues because this coat ain't it for me. The material on the outside is very stiff, scratchy, and unpleasant, which I might forgive if not for the odd fit. Rather than being straight or A-line, this coat seems to come in more at the bottom than it does in the middle, creating an unflattering silhouette. There's a bulge in the back where the extra middle section fabric bunches around the back bulkily, and then it tapers inward? It's fine when open, but the point of a coat like this is to zip it up and protect against the elements. I would feel embarrassed in this jacket the way it looks when zipped or buttoned. The stiff material around the face thing also is a no from me. It's too stiff to lay down, but then when it's buttoned up it covers part of my chin and scratches it as I move around. Ugh. I got overstimulated from the face thing just trying on the coat. It does seem like it would be warm, and isn't as Staypuft Marshmallow Man as a puffer or quilted/padded winter coats. The inner lining seems like it would probably do a fine job of keeping me warm in PNW winter temps, moderate as they are. The sleeves are a little long, but it zipped up comfortably with me inside and I don't think it would if I sized down. I can't speak to the waterproofness of it, because I immediately took it off and am returning it. The zipper seemed fine. The pockets are fine. It doesn't seem like it's a poorly made coat, though the materials definitely scream cheap. This probably will work fine for folks who don't mind the feel of the outer material. I think someone would need to be a little taller for the face thing and sleeves to be the correct proportions. Might solve the extra bulk in the back as well, but Idk if anything can be done for the tapering at the bottom. ... show more
