These boots were a decent bang for your buck. Fit was as described. No major "break in" period. comfortable out of the box. The sole split it half behind the ball of my foot after a year. I am still giving it a 4 star because I am generally hard on my boots and wear them 6 days a week for 60 hours.

So for some of us out here finding 6E wide is almost impossible. Part of this issue centers around the sizing chart. Extra-Wide,EW,XW, 4E and H width sizing which is all 4E width shoes/boots. It's taken 3 years to figure this much out. The biggest issue is my foot is about 4.5 inches wide. Making it 6E. While I did find Dunham boots have what I call a true to size 6E boot. They are a bit pricey. I ordered these because the Dunham's were out of stock. Go figure. I ordered these with a set of Keens because I remember Keens being like Extra wide along with a super wide toe box. Not this time, returned! So I was a little afraid to try these on because, another swing and a miss would not be fun. I put my foot in and noticed it was snug on my right foot. Not a game changer, but pleasantly surprised it was snug, but not uncomfortable. One of the things I believe that's helping them out is the lack of a inner thinsulate liner. Regardless, these boots keep my feet toasty warm. These are the most comfortable boots I have actually owned. I don't feel like I'm standing on concrete. I left them on the first day I had them because they were that comfortable. If you are 4E/5E/6E these should fit you no issues unless your toe box is 4.7" or wider. ... show more

Just picked up a pair of Wolverine boots and so far, I’m impressed. They have a very clean-cut, classic look—nothing too bulky or overdesigned. They strike a nice balance between rugged and professional, making them versatile enough for both work and casual wear. Fit-wise, they’re not too tight or too loose—just right out of the box. That said, they are a bit stiff at first, so expect a break-in period before they really start to mold to your feet. The build quality feels solid, and they seem like they’ll hold up well over time. So I've had these boots for about two months now, 1 month of daily wear. I work indoors on concrete, 10 hour shift and do at least 10 miles a day sometimes 15. I wore these for my first week and the next week I wore some Nike running shoes that actually cost more than these boots just to see if there was a difference. There was, a huge difference. The boots 100% are better than the nike shoes. I weigh 190lbs and that just crushed the nike shoes. Every step I took I could feel the sole just squish down offering 0 support for my heels. What you'll immediately notice about these boots is that the soles are super thick. Maybe a little to excessive but its like that for a reason. When I walk with these its super comfortable, perfect toe space, and because of the thick sole, awesome amount of support for a big guy. I have feet pain every evening when I get out of work with these boots but thats to be expected when you walk that amount everyday. When I wear my Nike running shoes, the pain is unbearable and I feel it right away. Hands down Id take these boots over running shoes any day. The support is there, the protection is there. It has happened to me numerous times when walking around wooden pallets, while wearing mesh running shoes, a piece of wood or nail sticking out catches the mesh and makes me trip. With these leather boots, never happens. These are only my second pair of work boots so I can't really comment on the quality of leather, but I can say it feels nice and smooth. It does get scuffed up really easy but who cares, these boots are for aesthetic appeal. They have good traction as well. I still have the original insoles and they seem to work just fine. I wouldn't consider switching them out until they're wore out. The only thing I did not like where the laces, they just felt cheap, I swapped them out from the laces on a moc toe boot from Academy that I bought a while ago that didn't last but the laces where nice. ... show more

I returned a pair that was one size to small in the wrong box. This Amazon notification said they were not returned but I handed them to the UPS man with a label. I ordered the right pair again and received them. I don't want to be double charged The correct boots are well made.
