    • Much smaller than we expected
I actually purchased the larger size because we have children from 50-90lbs. This one says it holds children up to 120lbs but It is very small for a child that size. The smaller children enjoyed it, but the seat is way to small for the other children.

Skiing before breakfast? With EZ Ski we had boys wanting to be out on the water all the time. Whether behind the boat or jet ski, they enjoyed and soon started showing us their moves in the evenings, during the day or with the morning sun. This was a hit with our 4 and 6 year olds and they felt great about themselves and what they could do so quickly. A very safe, easy, controlled way for them to begin water sports! Bought this for my 5 and 7 year old grandkids after the older one fell on her face last year with the regular trainers. (We forgot to tell her to let go of the rope if she falls) Well, this is the best water toy purchase I've ever made! I decided to go with the larger tube for up to 120 lbs. since we have non-skiing relatives near the teen years who might enjoy it, too. And this trainer was the hit of our family get- together. The little ones LOVED it and felt super safe and the 12 year old got the feel of skiing before using regular skis. He also enjoyed just goofing off on it. He then got up on skis the 1st try (last year he couldn't get up). The directions said to hold the rope and not attach it to the boat, but after the 1st run, we attached it. Maybe if you had young 3-4 year olds, it might be different. We also went faster then the 10 mph suggested, probably 15-20 mph. I only wish I knew how to attach pictures with this review to show how much fun it was!! ... show more

    • Decent stability, but could be more sturdy...
Great concept and overall it worked for my 7, 8, and 9 year olds, but it could be a little more rigid and not as flimsy when inflated. Even when filling it as much as possible, the integrity wasn't the best... Still, my kids enjoyed it, but it would have been better if it was more sturdy and didn't flex as much as it did... ... show more

    • Easy to Use, but Doesn’t prepare for Water Skiing
Extremely simple to use. So simple that my kids (7/10/12) instantly stood up and had a blast. But also so simple that they learned nothing about how to actually water ski. So we put them on actual skis and they couldn’t get up and we spent hours and hours trying to get them up on actually water skis. So if I had to do it again, I would skip purchasing this. ... show more

Buying ski tubes is a daunting process. There are many out there, and it is hard to gauge how reliable they will be. Also, will the riders enjoy them? This one is a hit. It is well built, well designed, and loads of fun.
