Does a fine job, can accommodate multiple sheets and cardstock. We had about 30 years' worth of of stuff, resulting in over 100 bags of shred. It is still going strong after almost 3 years of regular use.

5/8/2021 Updating the Reviews Figured out it was a connector issue. Wiggling the cable would make it work sometimes. I had Contacted Manufacturer via Amazon website After a couple of notes and emails, Wolverine called me directly to have replacement sent And not to return the broken one Alan from Wolverine was really great and sent a new Shredder within a week. The new one came is complete packaging. And working well. Thank you Wolverine for resolving the issue. ————— I bought the 18pages/ 60min Wolverine in great faith. However The Shredder stopped working pretty much right out right out of the box and since I opened the box after 30 days of purchase. Amazon cannot help me and I cannot get in touch with Wolverine manufacturer/ vendor. This has been over 3 weeks now and very frustrating as all my work is delayed It would jam with 2-3 pages and then take me ~30mins o clear it/ re-try/ clear It’s a large and heavy mshredder to flip upside down and clear jams. The power cord has to be wiggled for shredder to work. Every 10secs. This is a faulty shredder and I cannot get any product support still.

Will take 8-10 sheets without bogging down and is way quieter than any of our previous shredders. Holds a fair amount of shredded waste paper so you don't have to empty it too often.

I purchased this shredder with the understanding that it would have better thermal control than other shredders I had used in the past. I've had this since Oct-2021, so I'v had the opportunity to run it quite a bit. The unit is advertised as having the ability to run up to 60 minutes and shred up to 18 sheets at a time. I realize that it is not rated to shred 18 sheets continuously for 60 minutes, however, I have found that it will shut down on thermal overload after about 10 minutes shredding between 2 and 4 sheets at a time. If you need efficient bulk shredding this is not the unit for you.

This shredder is excellent. I shredded 2 boxes of different grade paper and had no problem getting the job done. Everything in the description about this shredder is correct. Very glad I made this purchase. I have had 2 other shredders and never got the durability that I received from the Wolverine 18 Sheet shredder.
